Benzos does alcohol make xanax stronger?

It can be very dangerous to mix alcohol with downers because it does intensify the effects, even more so if you don't have any kind of tolerance. How often do you take benzos? If you're not used to drinking or taking benzos then you should probably not do this.
 
I would say that one beer with .25mg of Xanax is fairly safe as long as you're not driving or taking any other depressants. However, this is something you should be VERY careful with, it is very easy to mix too much and end up dead, especially when you have no tolerance. I would approach this with absolute caution and I wouldn't recommend doing it to anyone who doesn't already have experience with mixing depressants.
 
DO NOT mix benzos and alcohol.

you will be so fucked up and not think your that fucked up and eat all you xanax throughout the night and wake up not having the SLIGHTEST clue of what happened the past 12-24 hours of your life.

Ive done so much stupid shit on benzos + booze. terrible combo.
 
Alcohol and benzos rarely end well IME. But I have taken .25 mg Xanax and drank some beer before. Made me feel like a blob. No extra euphoria or anything, just less coordination than usual
 
It's not unsafe to mix the two (in those quantities) in terms of interaction, but your motor skills and mental acuity will be much more comprimised than with alcohol alone. Its very easy to black out when using this combination, especially if you're not tolerant.
 
You know ive had 6 grams of phenazepam and went through the lot, ive had copious amounts of xanax and diazepam and nitrazepam and temazepam and never have i blacked out once. I wanna blackout godfuckingdammit LOL

Even with the best of intentions of low dose benzos and light drinking, the combination usually ends poorly. You end up wanting more and often in many peoples cases giving in. From there it's a slippery slope.

You end up making an ass of yourself almost always, and there can become a strong possibility for severe / life threatening interaction if you keep dosing once inhibitions are lowered.

Not meaning to sound rude, but once you've been there it's somewhere you wish you had never went. This is one of the silliest goals I've ever heard.

Sorry dont mean to jack your thread. Dont drink on benzos man its that simple unless your an experienced benzo user and for you to ask the question your obviously not so dont even bother. Buy some weed. drink some grapefruit juice. Anyway if i was gonna drink on a benzo it certainly wouldnt be xanax.

Back to jacking the thread...ok let me explain..

Everybody talks about these blackouts and when i look back at the amount crap ive taken and never blacked out it was just my own crazy ass way of expressing that, i never meant i wanted to blackout, im feeling so good today im literately talking in jest but at the sametime gave some good advice to the guy with the question right.

It's just jesticulating bullchit. If i was gonna srsly go for a blackout id buy a bottle of jacky dees and drink it!!! (on its own) Although sombody would prolly get headbutted along the way im pretty sure that would black me out.

I just find it astonishing i have never blacked out, thats all.

Cant a guy joke around here Lol :)

From personal experience blacking out really really sucks. You wake up covered in ( insert bodily fluid ) and not having the slightest idea of what happened the night before. And I usually Would black out with a large group of people, so thank god I got good friends who would roll me over and hose me down ( literally once). The worst part is not knowing what happened the night before. Did I lose something other then my dignity? Did I fight or hurt someone? It's really fucked up for lack of a better expression. Don't plan to black out, it isn't fun and extremely dangerous if you aren't around good friends. Best of luck to whatever you decide to do
 
im pretty sure 1 beer and a quarter mg of xanax isnt gonna hurt you. shit yesterday i took 1 mg and had a tall boy that was 8% plus 40 mgs of hydro and i woke up feeling refresh edit: if you got more you sprobaly shouldnt redose but if all you got is one of each then you should be alright

2mg of xanax + 3-4 beers and a couple shots = punching my best friend in the face for no reason, breaking up with my girlfriend by leaving an obnoxious voicemail, trying to have sex with an ugly fat bitch, and waking up thinking I had a pretty boring night...

Took me 2 weeks to reconcile everything I fucked up lol, but damn xanax and a few beers is fun!! But to answer your question YES it intensifies it by so much, the worst part is that you honestly remember NOTHING...
