Do your dealers offer sales?

My connect has a lottttt of competition where he sells weed in the suburbs. No one has territory, and it's not like you can go fuck up the competition. It's kinda like a free for all every man for himself

my boys is the only guy in my town who offers sales. His customers always know that on every holiday he'll deduct a percentage of the cost, or add an extra 25% product or throw in a free Dutch or some shit. Sometimes he would even hold random promotions during slow periods or when he had new product for people to test. He told me he wanted to make up a bunch of business cards for some fake pizza shop so every time a customer makes a buy, their card gets a special hole punch, get 10 punches and get a free bag (ya kno, like pizza places do, except with weed) which I thought was risky

Ive heard people say drugs sell themselves and i say fuck that, at least in my area, the ones who make money are the ones who treat it like a business, just like any other business I think my dealer should be prompt, professional, reliable, and have periodical sales to give back to the customer. He's not talking about getting some mexi shwag n flipping it cheap cheap cause it sucks, he has quality heady, name brand herb.

Have any of your dealers ever offered special promotions? What'd you think? Do you still see that provider?

no I wish. Sometimes my old heroin connect would give me a free little shot to test the quality of his gear snce he didnt use but thats about it.

Double checked the rules before responding, and this thread -appears ok- so I'll respond (hope I'm not wrong).

When I was younger, before I understood why people did drugs, and only knew them as bad thing just stupid people do, I wondered why dealers didn't actually get a real job when they obviously have the skills necessary to run a business.

I've only seen "discounts" in the same manner that you go to Sam's instead of Walmart, never seen someone actually do holiday sales or fake business cards (except in that one weed movie).

Fake business card's is a horrible idea by the way. If law enforcement is ever informed of the true nature, that's physical evidence of distribution for the dealer, and potentially probable cause for a search if seen in a customers car.

I have seen some who will give refunds on bad product to their priority shoppers (they either sent it back to "manufacturer" or give it to less discriminating shoppers).

I always made a point to tip my friends an extra $10 or $20 occasionally to achieve that VIP status. Got first dibs, would get stuff held for me, be able to get refunds.

That's almost like the Barnes and Noble membership card in my eyes. Pay I think $80 you get 10% off all purchases at B&N (and I -think- the inside Starbucks). Well worth it with how many books I buy.

instead of a card, just have the guy keep track of how many buys in a hidden note book.

Have nicknames for the customers (so they cant get caught), and put a tally next to their name whenever they buy

my dealers wont usually give me deals (maybe for a birthday or something) but a lot of the time they will smoke a bowl or something of the sort

The only drug dealers I have ever known to do 'sales' are those internet vendors.

My friends who deal give me things for cheaper but only because I'm friends with them. I've never had legit sales. I can't say much though due to the fact we're not allowed to talk about prices on here.

My dealer, when selling lollies, would be like, by 10 lollies get 10% off, etc, and the more you buy the cheaper it is.

Yeah, this is the only kind of 'sale' I've ever had too. Though there seems to be less competition for dealers here so they don't really need to do anything special to move product.

Well thats a bit different, thats buying in bulk prices...

EXAMPLE: You can buy a pill for $5 when you only buy a couple, not a bad price, just normal. But they you buy 100 pills, if you still payed $5 a pill you would get WAY ripped off

if Im buying atleast $100 worth of drugs at once, I expect to get a few hits thrown in

Every time my birthday rolls around, my guy gives me 5 grams of heads for 5 dollars. This makes the birthday boy very happy. He also happens to be a very good friend of mine, so I'm sure that helps.

He's not dumb enough to put anything incriminating on it like his address or phone number. The way he explained it it was just gona b a business card with the name "joe's pizza" or something, and maybe saying something like "buy 10 pies, get the next one free"

instead of a card, just have the guy keep track of how many buys in a hidden note book

See the advantage of giving out cards tho is that your customers are less likely to forget about you or go somewhere else. U gotta figure most people don't keep track how many bags they get from which dealer, plus it makes them feel more in control and more willing to go back to that dealer when they can see exactly when they can get their free bag

Quick story about business cards... My friend was in IHOP, stoned as usual, and this gangsta dude goes over to him, and gives him a nod, and asks if he smokes (does the smoke hand gesture). My friend said yes, so the guy started talking to him, and asked what kind of bud he gets. My friend told him get mostly gets headies, and this guy said if he is interested in buying from him, he only sells ounces of more, and deals headies and hayes. He then hands him a business card which he showed me. It was called Up in Smoke, and said it was a chimney sweeper business. =D

As for deals, well certain drug rings or crews have different standard amounts for things like bundles, jabs, etc. Like bundles are usually 10 bags by me, but there was a crew that was known for there 11 bag bundles. I've heard this done in other areas that sell bundles in the northeast, and I have also heard this done in Chicago with the 'jabs' they sell.

We used to have dealers travel up from London and they would give you a free rock of crack for every two bags of heroin that you bought.
Doesn't happen anymore worse luck, that was great while it lasted.

Sometimes I'd be ''in on'' a great deal where we'd pool our money and get X amount of oxy for $Y amount of cash... the more quantity you buy, the better the discount, of course... but when it comes to Rx pills, people either know what they have and are greedy or don't know what they have and you either take advantage of them or open your big fat mouth and tell them they're sitting on a veritable goldmine... I am the latter, with the big fat mouth, but I believe in karma so usually I'll get paid back in kind.

About the business card thing -- 2 dealers I've known have used that method! One is a pot dealer with a skull and crossbones and a phone number on the business card and the other was a number for a Private Investigator services that said "To Catch A Cheetah" and a phone number. Very enterprising, haha, but not a technique I would use per se...

I would get sales occasionally. Usually I'd get eleven bags for <snip>, and if I was short ten, I could still get a straight bundle. My cocaine dealers were pretty cool too, they'd let me off ten dollars here and there, but the big picture was that they were making a shitload of cash off me and I was calling to meet them usually twice a day at least

Too much greed around my parts, at least regarding opiates. Unless I'm getting from a good friend there's nothing special to be found..

Of course, in regards to the heroin dealers specifically I've been dealing with the past few years when I have dealt with, in the end parts of this time frame, price breaks are key in keeping the clientele addicted and making them more money.

My dealer sells his bags of coke for $10 less than every other dealer in the city. Most people thought he was crazy, but he makes WAY more money this way.
