A good friend of mine and a much more frequent user of this forum died there other night on a combination of etizolam and opiates. I thought etizolam was only fatal when combined with alcohol but this was a sobering reality.

Please be careful with all benzos and I guess now thenzos, the worst addicts I have seen in my life are alcoholic benzo poppers. If you do not know how to measure half milligrams stay the fuck away from this stuff.

Sorry to be a downer

My sympathies for your loss.
It would do people good to just ignore the thienodiazpine bit and just think of etizolam as a 'benzodiazepine' because the risk factors and interactions are the same, regardless.

Yea the pharmacological profile is the same, always look up such things before combining drugs. It's sad to hear though, RIP <3

sounds more like this was an err on the side of measurement. not just lack of knowledge with eitzolam. most benzo's are relatively harmless when taken by themselves. It's when combined with other substances, especially alcohol, that benzo's seem to "help tip the scales". its typically the other substance(s) that cause the fatality. imo/ime if it was in the usa, they could end up using things like this to make eti "more illegal" do you know what kind/dose opiate/opioid this person took?

im very upset by this in more than one way. reminds me of horrid moments... hope your friend passed peacefully... and YOU take it easy too OP!!

The other info besides the class of drugs he mixed is super extra.

RIP to your friend, we all are gonna go through it....but no sympathy for you helping the feddy-coppers build a case...

Please edit your post to exclude the specific drug...
