Misc Do I have a Stomach Ulcer?

Hey BL,
Now I put a thread in a week or so ago asking what sortve damage I may have done consuming 6000mg of Ibuprofen at once. All I copped was flak. Anyways, I have been doing this regularly to catch a buzz off of Codeine. Yes I know I should be doing CWE's but, when I first got severely depressed I was taking a box of nurofen plus at a time and I didn't really care if it killed me. I certainly got the buzz I was looking for with minimal side effects (slight nausea and weird poos), So I figured why the fuck do a CWE if I don't have to besides I still really don't give a flying fuck if it kills me as I am still pretty darn depressed, So I have been doing a box of Nurofen plus once or twice a fortnight for months now with little to no side effects up until tonight. Today about 10 hours ago, I took 6000mg of Ibuprofen and 384mg of Codeine as usual, now as it has worn off slowly and left me quiet nauseous (much more than usual) with moderate abdominal pain and a weird feeling in my heart area but the nausea got to the point I thought, fuck it, I will make myself spew to ease my nausea. I did exactly that and made myself spew when the second alarm bell started ringing... it was dark brown about 1 shade of black. Is this sign a sign of stomach ulcer or something more serious. I am too scared to go to the A&E in fear of the humiliation. I also read this is a sign of internal bleeding. Now although I don't really care if I kark it, I don't wanna die a slow painful death bleeding out internally. Is it possible that months of abuse could have blown a hole in my stomach? Should I just bite the bullet and get it checked out? If I do get it checked out what are they most likely going to do?

And please if you are just going to reply with criticism or calling bullshit. Please kindly fuck right off as I am deadly serious and am in no mood.

Damn bud you did some damage here bud, your gonna need to go to a emergency room right now. Seriously. if what u threw up was that color and u have internal pain near your stomach. SDtop reading after this and go to the EMERGENCY ROOM

Actually in sunny florida ;) but yea m8 just go there let them know what you have been doing (Be honest) they cant do anything accept probably say ur either going to die or jesus christ how r u alive still. U need to tell them what you have been doing though so they know how serious or not the issue is.
 
hahaha I shoulda known lol, its abit late for an aussie to be awake, although with the quality of the meth that's been getting around anything is possible hahaha. And yeh, Im almost certain there is some damage. I just vomited again and it was bloody/brown. Aint nothing like a sunday night in the psych ward. But better than bleeding out internally I guess. Thanks for the advice mate
 
I hate taking any meds w/o eating any food beforehand......I know people like to get the most out of their meds, but always eat before ingesting meds.

Aleve is the worst for me, I won't touch that sh*t anymore, it makes my stomach hurt.

OP, if you threw up what you stated, like others have said, go to the hospital ASAP.......
 
Went to the ER, just said I had been taking it for awhile for "shoulder pain". They said indeed I do have a stomach ulcer prescribed me an antibiotic they didn't really ever find out I was abusing nurofen plus and I nearly walked out with an endone script instead of nurofen plus to treat my "shoulder pain" but I aint going down that road. Not a fucking chance. So I declined them.

At this stage yes Blackout. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist tomorrow to discuss my options as I have other abuse problems aswell as severe depression.

I'm surprised they didn't give you activated charcoal. Aside from your stomach, they should be paying attention to your liver! At least it wasn't acetaminophen/paracetamol, I guess.
 
Honestly, no one can tell you but a Gastrologist...with a ENDOSCOPY procedure.

My mom has done the test a few times, and they found an ulcer in her stomach.

I just recently had one last month. Thank god everything went well, and I didn't end up with any kind of damage or and sort of stomach diseases.
The only thing I got fucked up on, was my palatine uvula. It got cut on the bottom. The day after, the WHOLE bottom turned white. My mom was like, "WTF, I've had that procedure done multiple times, and that's never happened to me!"

She did warn me before I went to take my procedure with the doctor she didn't like...I told her mom it'll be fine. But, looks like, MOMMA KNOWS BEST. haha. I'm def. going to find a new Gastrotologist.
Because I don't like him either, he doesn't really help me, it's more of an in and out kind of games for him. He's just their for the money (obviously)....He's def. getting a bad yelp review from me and my mom. F him.

The pain in my throat didn't go away until 2 weeks later, I called him the very next day, he told me to gargle salt and water, yes, that's the answer he gave me. He didn't mention anything about coming in and seeing him for that.

Nurofen Plus will shoot your kidneys and wreck your stomach lining to hell mate, def need to avoid the ibuprofen and start CWE Panadiene extra instead give your gut some healing time..
 
Start taking Nexium daily for the next few days...see if your stomach improves. IF you have an ulcer, stay away from nsaids, tylenol, etc. unless you absolutely can't stand the pain.

No spicy foods, avoid alcohol.

Sulcafate/carafate really coats the stomach well, but you can only get it in RX.
