I ask cuz alot of people go to me when they wanna know something like an unkown pill or how much of something to take etc...and im pretty sure thers alot out there haha and to me it just feels good knowing you got a purpose in life (preventing OD's)

haha hell yea it comes out handy too cuz u get hooked up!
a always tell people "you"ll never OD if your with me and follow my guidelines"

Yes absolutely. I'm one of the most educated drug addicts I know.
I manufactured speed, chloral hydrate, methcathinone and GHB at 17 self taught so I had a good sense of chemistry from a young age.
Now I'm 28 and know everything there is to know about most drug out there.

Pharmaceuticals
Street Drugs
Ethnobotanicals
Steroids
Designer Steroids
Homeopathy
General herbs/vitamins

Everyone in my family and every friend I know comes to me for advice on anything semi related to chemistry/meds/drugs.
But don't get me wrong I'm not even close to a genius. I've met people on this forum who could school me on things I never knew even existed. And theres also wayyy too many pharmaceuticals out there to actually know what every single one does.

After about 6 years ago I had realized that not a single doctor in this world knows me better than me, or knows how I'm likely to react to certain meds. I had told a dr way back when that I would not react well to Zoloft and he insisted on me taking it. This was prob like the 8th experience where a doctor had done something that made my condition worse. But I took the Zoloft and had some of the worst panic attacks of my life for a week, and that was pretty much the last straw for me.

Now EVERYTHING that goes into my body is something I prescribe myself lol. And something else its also helped me with is gaining control over compulsive behavoirs. Rather then go to a dr to get an ssri/snri/dri for paws, I'll be putting myself on effexor for 6 months to get through the worst part. After that I'll taper for 4 weeks and be done. I honestly DO NOT see the use of psychiatrists anymore in my life.
But obviously if I develop a serious health problem I'm not trying to treat myself for that. I'm smart enough to know when to draw the line.

I'm no expert or "pharmacist", but I consider myself to be well educated about drugs. I've researched every drug I've used, I've manufactured certain drugs in the past, I have a reasonable knowledge of pharmacology and pharmacokinetics, and I'm also pretty street wise which always comes in useful.

I Know more than all the people I know about all the drugs i've taken / plan on taking.

But when I come up on BL everyone pisses on my chips. So yeah I think i'm a badman but i'm probably not.

im really educated about drugs. i was a pharmacy tech in college and it wasn't enough to just make the stuff - i had to know what it was, what it did, what it was used for = big fan of medline and i even read those inserts in the box. i took some pharmacology and was very close to going to pharmacy school many times.
ive also been on a crap-load of meds - mostly head meds, well anything- i like to research and know about it. ive gotten in trouble for trying to be my own doctor and for not being careful when telling other people about their meds. i.e. i told a boy with an eating disorder that the zyprexa they put him on was probably causing his weight gain. i was only being matter of fact about a side effect but he went ballistic and was convinced that the doctors were trying to trick him and stuff.
i also like to know about street drugs - pharmacology is so interesting to me and i don't want to be a dumbass (sorry if you have done something stupid - no offence) and snort anything that is crushable or inject random stuff or smoke a vicodin because some friend of a friend's brother did it and got so high. its good to know half lives and solubilities and other stuff.

hmmm i could be a freelance pharmacist.... i think i have a lab coat somewhere

hell yea i wanna be a pharmacy tech. and make good friends with doctors!=D

Well - in the last couple weeks I've had a handful of people call me the girl with the 'small pharmacy' OR 'the pharmacist'. *note : these are close friends/people I trust. Otherwise? I'd be concerned...
: 'educated druggie' to me would be slightly offensive. (I hope it's not because it's true. DAMN!) You know what? I'm not a druggie (an addict, yes), but a 'utilizer of all that science has to offer'. :D I do RESEARCH! *shakes fist

I am definitely a well educated druggie.
I have been told to become a pharmacist before tho. But that's probably cuz the people that have said that are kinda reckless when it comes to drugs.
