DMAE Life-shortening

Does anybody have any info on DMAE (Dimethylethanolamine)? All I can find from erowid is a study proving to lower life expentancy in Japanese Quail. The doses seemed quite high though, 18.4 mg/kg/day. If I were to follow this mg/kg/day, weighing roughly 68 kg, my dose would be about 1250mg a day, while the max dose recommend is 600mg per day.

Then there is a study on mice that showed to increase life expectancy, but I cannot find any specifics on the study.

I can't offer any other studies sorry, that quail one was one of the only one I found a couple of years ago too. I was taking around 100mg/day along with piracetam for a while but gave up due to the horrendous taste.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your weight when you were taking DMAE?
I'm unsure of what dose to start with. Dosing too high sounds unpleasant from what I've read.

^ around 75kg, 5'11" tall. If it's choline you're after then eggs, soy lecithin & wheat germ are good natural sources.
