I have seen a lot of Ditch weed growing along the edges of fields in Illinios, and Indiana, and farm places in the midwest, and all the locals know that they are out there of course. They do not bother with these plants because 99% of them are scraggly hemp plants.During WW2 farmers were encouraged by the US government to grow hemp for use in things suchs as parachutes and rope,etc..These plants mostly have no THC at all as they are left over wild hemp plants that grow everyyear.I do think that maybe some corn farmers in these areas may plant some "real" cannabis nearby to make money/get high on, but you can tell that these hemp plants are no good ,and a farmer or growers real cannabis plant that gets you high would stick out among the spindly hemp plants and probably get pollinated by the males.Even female hemp plants are of little to no value as they where, like all industrial hemp plants bred to provide hemp fibers and other products and not for THC levels. My friend in Illinois that lived near a small town took me out to a corn field and showed me the hemp plants. There were females among the hemp plants and we took the best looking one whuch looked terrible. He rolled up a blunt and tried to smoke it after he dried it and let it cure and he got nothing off of it but a cough and a bad headache. It could be possible for there to be actual cannabis plants to be found in the wild, left unattended or planted by someone years ago, and forgoteen or whatever, but that is unlikely, and if so it is most likely left there because it is shwagg weed or for some reason.Good weed even low potency weed brings enough money that no one will just leave it out for the hell of it,unless you are a "johnnyApple Weed" person who likes to spread plants out here and there for people, but those type of people are few and far betwwen these days.
