Discussion about naming methylone for example, is it an amphetamine or a cathinone?

Methylone is sold as fake molly. Not sure on if amphetamines are in it or not...

most cathiones are also in the class of amphetamines naming comes down to a short part of the chemical stucture. Methylone is a substituted amphetamine and a a subsituted cathinone

Thanks. That clears it up. Some guy was discussing saying bk-MDMA was just a commercial name like explosion back in the day.
