"Dirty bill"?

I see a lot of people on Bluelight who criticize people for snorting something with a "dirty" bank note. To me that doesn't make sense at all. Yes, bank notes are dirty and have been many places. But if you are snorting powder that was made in third world country by people living in poverty, that was probably cut with unknown substances; what difference does it make? Anyone else agree?

^ I dunno about that. What about the really clean crisp bills? man I dunno I guess I've just never had an issue with it.

The chances of a substance being cut with something Hep-C infected (or infected with another nasty that can survive in the presence of oxygen for as long as Hep-C), and the Hep-C surviving the transit from the place of origin to the place of consumption is nil. The chances of a note being used recently by someone with Hep-C and a bloody nose (read, minutely scratched nose, just small enough to introduce the Hep-C to the bank note) are much higher. I can see why people warn against this risk, considering this is a harm reduction website.

That being said, I think the chances of contracting Hep-C or another nasty from snorting with a bank note are slim; the chances increase if you are passing around a bill amongst friends, and one of those "friends" happens to have a contagious ailment and either doesn't know or doesn't feel obligated to divulge the information to his "friends" before putting them at risk by sharing a tooter.

I never really gave a shit because I always used bank fresh bills and never shared the same bill with someone if I was snorting something.

Its never really crossed my mind.. but I think they chances of catching something from a bank note is like catching herpes from a toilet seat, minimal...

I think people on Bluelight who critisize one person for using one drug because they use another is far worse than dirty bank notes

CT is right, it can be dangerous.

Just don't share, it's not hard to make a makeshift straw. Or, if you use a lot, carry your own cut up straw.

Also, just to add, it's best not to share any drug paraphernalia. This includes cookers, cottons, and stirrers.

I have never insufflated anything before so I have never really thought about this either, pretty interesting. I don't know if this would be too much hassle to go through but you can get an Iron up to over 400 degrees Fahrenheit. I do not know for sure if that will kill the hep c virus but I would think that it would. Plus you would have a nice crisp bill.

My thoughts exactly.

Does anyone use an actual snorting tube? I've been thinking about picking one up. Seems classier somehow.

UGH! BLEGH! YUCK! i never use bank notes/money of any sort because i think about all the strippers asses that money has been up and all the other noses it has been in.

it's true once drugs are made they pass through a lot of dirty hands as well, but those drugs *probably* have not been up anyone else's nose or ass or tits or whatever.

Ignorance is bliss... ;)

Seriously though, in this day and age you can't just walk across a border carrying high quantities of drugs simply hidden in your suitcase. You'd be suprised what sort of "creative places" people come up with to hide things when they cross through security measures...
