Diphenhydramine (Benadryll) Effects of on MDMA?

I've been taking diphenhydramine as a sleeping aid semi-regularly over the last few months.

I've heard it is an SSRI and can cause the effects of mdma to be diminished.

I plan on taking MDMA tonight, have I gone some way towards spoiling the experience by taking diphenhydramine?

DPH is not an SSRI - it was used to create SSRIs.

It will just make you more relaxed during the roll, might curb some of the rushing... but it depends on dose. 25mg or 50mg should keep you from getting nauseous in the least.

No I don't intend on taking any diph during the roll. I've been taking it nightly, the last time being 24 hours ago. I was just worried the prolonged use may have an effect on the mdma.
