Dimethocaine (Larocaine), first time, ummm am i supposed to feel high?

Measured out just above 400mg on 1mg scale of the yellow flakey powder. Cut it up a bit and made lines.. About 8 or so lines to make sure it wasn't going to blow back into my lungs or down my throat easy

Was not numbing instantly, but the drip numbs minutes later for upto an hour or more.
Felt some kind of high where I was happy, lasted about 30 seconds before I felt sick because of the amount I snorted.

Needed to blow my nose but let it absorb for 5-10 minutes before i ran to the toilet and spewed.

I can eat fine on it, I have no high except for sometimes I feel my heart a bit too much like a mephedrone comedown. Like that tloxic heart feeling, not just fast pounding.

I rate this as potent and useful and recreational as snorting frigging table salt.
 
According to Howell, L.L. and Wilcox, K.M., although dimethocaine is approximately equipotent with cocaine as a local anesthetic, in order to achieve "euphoria" (DAT occupancy ≥ 65%),[4] the dose needed to be taken is ten times greater than for cocaine.[3]

If ^this^ is the case, then you'd have to do a lot more puking before you achieved any substantial euphoria.

That is dangerous for your heart!

If you snort too much you will have a heart arrhythmia.
I thought the words "local anesthetic" would raise a red flag here.

Pretty much all local anesthetics of the "caine" type will cause heart arrhythmic behavior.
 
I've honestly been staring at the shit on my RC vendors site, again and again, trying to figure out wtf it's there for.

Not one person here has said it's a good stimulant, though they disagree on 1/2-1/10th the strength of cocaine. So the natural thought is "Oh, you use it as a cut, or mix with some stimulant so it'll numb your mouth so your unfortunate customers will think it's coke". But then you look at the price, it's tens of $ per gram, that's some expensive cut! "well, maybe there aren't any other good local anesthetics to use for cut..." No, wait, there are suppliers selling benzocaine for 1/50th the price.

I'm mystified as to why this is being sold and who is buying it. Maybe there aren't any return customers and the vendor selling it is going to drop it as soon as they run out? Maybe there's some use we don't know about it?
 
I can assure anyone that this is pointless and very dangerous due to misunderstanding.

Yes, it has the dopamine re-uptake inhibition strength of 1/10 that of coke, but it has the same local anesthetic strength as coke meaning it will cause the same cardiotoxicity without even getting high.

Just from these statements alone, I know there is somebody out there just snorting multiple ounces of this shit in one sitting disappointed as fuck in the hospital.
 
A good friend of mine prefers dimethocaine to cocaine now that he's tried dimethocaine. Results may vary.
 
The high does not vary.

Dimethocaine used like coke can have a really shitty outcome.

1/10 of the high of Coke, and the same local anesthetic (Heart malfunctioning) power.
 
It doesn't produce 1/10th the high of cocaine. I don't know where you are getting that figure. Look at all the trip reports on forums; the dosage is similar to "street cocaine" which most people assume is 50% or less purity.

It's still not completely comparable though, as drugs like methylphenidate and MDPV work in a similar manner as cocaine and dimethocaine, and no amount of those will produce an equivalent high.
