I was given a one dose pill of Diflucan (fluconazole), and took it yesterday.
I've read conflicting reports on whether or not it's safe to drink with this. Some say no problem, others say no cause it'll make you feel sick or can hurt your liver when mixed with alcohol. I asked the nurse who gave it to me and she said it should be fine, but she didn't seem to know for sure.
I just wanted to know if anyone has taken this and drank afterwards, or how long they waited to drink after taking it, or what exactly the risk of mixing it with alcohol involves. Thanks.
