Hi i've been wondering what do all these different types of hash mean. What i am talking about is the clinic that I usually visit has just got some hash, and i have never really tried it before. They have a variety of hash called bubble hash, full melt and i think i saw some kind of oil or some sort. Now my question is what is the difference between all of those? Thanks ahead for all those who help.

Bubble hash is made in the US,normally stronger than other types of hash.Aslo Morrroco,Eygpt,Lebanon,Turkey,Iran,Asghani,India,Burmese,Thai,Laos,Cambodian,Jamacian,and mexican(low grade),Belize and some south vamerican nations all produce hash.There is a thread on here somewhere if you search that tell about different hash types..Hash Oil is concentrated THC in oil form that can be as high as 89% THC or more.Rare and expensive stuff that hash oil is..One hit ,and if you can hold it long enough to not cough it out,then one hit gets you super high/stoned

I've written a fuck-off great big massive entry on hash for the BL wiki. Hopefully anything you want to know will be there. If not, please let me know, I want it to be as complete as possible.
Wiki article

Hash oil isn't technically hash, it's not a mass of resin glands, it's an amorphous mass of chemicals. I bang on about this a lot, and no-one cares, but fuck it, I'm right.

In answer to your question: bubble hash and full melt are both names for very pure water-extracted hash, that melt and bubble when held to a flame. The term "bubble hash" has been misused to mean any water-extracted hash, but the term comes from the tendency to bubble. Hash oil is an extract of cannabis made using solvents.

^ i see your article was very helpful, but do the potency of bubble hash and full melt differ?

err...although you are right about the tendency to bubble, i must take issue with your explanation of the name. Bubble Hash is so called because bubbles are pumped from the bottom of a tank (or bucket or whatever) through a series of mesh bags, which both break the bubbles up and allow for progressively smaller glands to collect, but without the agitation which might break those glands up (ie a cake mixer or similar).

Well, they're basically names for the same thing, but the usage of "bubblehash" has been corrupted to mean any water-extracted hash. If it really does bubble, then that's what meant by full melt, so it'll be just as strong. However, it's pretty likely that the bubblehash you've been offered doesn't actually bubble, and if so it is of slightly lower quality than full melt. Both will be very potent though.

nah, ive gotten real bubbly shit before, but the only stuff ive heard called bubble hash was made with bubbles in the water extraction instead of some other means of agitation. might just be a local thing though.

I have never heard of that technique being used. My understanding was that the term came into common use when Bubble Bags became widely marketed. These bags do not function in the way you describe; thus, it seems reasonable to conclude that the name predates that technique (even if it is used now). I'm pretty sure I'm right, but fuck it, it's unlikely we're going to get a definitive answer and it's not like there's anything important hanging in the balance.

I first heard of bubble hash when people started using bubble bags - only way I've ever heard it referred to.

Hey, hey, you agree with chainer and Yerg!
:::grumbles:::
no-one ever takes any notice of me around here...well, you'll see...you'll all see...
