Opioids differences between Morph. Chlorohydrate & Morph. Sulphate?

I have both, sulphate in the form of 30mg tablets and chlorohydrate in the form of vials (60mg/ml).

Is there ANY difference between the highs? any difference AT all?

Im going to use the vials for IM usage and tabs for either sublingual or nasally, if it works quicker and gives a better 'boost' (does morphine burn bad when sniffed? )

anybody wiser with knowledge to share, please reply. I would like to try the chlorohydrate IM tonight but I would like to know more about the differences (if there are any) first and what to expect from Morph. Chlorohydrate IM ~600mg (10 vials) ?

Wel,, since I received no replies, I just tried the chlorohydrate morphine yesterday (about 7hrs ago) in the form of 12 vials of 60mg/ml morphine chlorohydrate.

I IM'ed the 720mg/ml, felt the morphine quite fell. to be honest. that "pins and needles" feeling, a little bit of a rush after 3-5mins of the IM shot etc. So, I like morphine in chlorohydrate form, i will try the tablets (30mg IR morphine sulphate).

Can morphine sulphate tabs be snorted? Or is sublingual a better way? I'd rather not IM these or plug or do something else...

my tolerance is 120mg 'done/day (which holds me 19-21 hours) but can without problem take 5x120=600mg of done after being absent for 72h+ and still, no high, no nod, no nothing, just sweating.

So, in theory, 600mg IM morphine should be like 0.3g of cannabis to an everydaysmoker.

I am interested in particular, is there ANY difference in effects between the hydrate and sulphate versions?

ive used both by now and i must say, the clorohydrate vials are VERY good compared to taking the SAME dose of 30MG IR via IV.

All right, I'm going to get into this topic as deep as possible. The only difference between these two salts of morphine is solubility in water. The chlorohydrate salt is more soluble than the sulphate and it allows to form more concentrated solutions, so you can inject less liquid.

According to my old pharmacopiea, it's the other way 'round. The solubility difference is just about nil.

Morphine hydrochloride: freebase conversion ratio 0.887, sol. 1 in 25 parts water (40 mg/ml), 1 in 50 of 90% ethyl alcohol, 1 in 8 of glycerin, insoluble in chloroform or ether
Morphine suphate: freebase conversion ratio 0.853, sol. 1 in 21 of water (47 mg/ml), very slightly in 90% ethyl alcohol.

Morphine hydrochloride is about 4% stronger by weight.

I was asking about 10mg pills (morphine sulphate) and 60mg/ml vials (morphine hydrosulphate).

So let me get this right.

The best way for me to use them would be to sublingually take the morphine tabs (i have many..) and IV the vials (have many too...)
