Did JWH ruin marijuana?

This is for everyone who used any synthetic cannabiniods. Have you noticed that weed just doesnt cut it anymore? Ever since my girl and i got heavy into jwh (500mg a day each) weed barely does anything if at all. It seems like we just go through the motions for a mild head change and the act of smoking.

I was wondering if anyone else had noticed such a sever cross tolerance. Is a break worth it? Does it ever go back to actually getting stoned like it use to?

We stopped using all JWH and synthetic cannabiniods late novermber but weed just isnt the same anymore. Is there any hope?
 
I never got that heavy into JWH and I still liked the buzz of THC more. But ive heard of people caring more for JWH then bud which seems odd to me.. But to each there own!!!

If I were you, I would try to stop smoking any synthetic or real pot for a few months and then try again. Im sure JWH raised ur tolerance threw the roof and you just need some time to get that magic back!
 
THC is only a partial agonist of cannabinoid receptors. The best analogy for this is taking Chantix all the time to get a buzz and then starting to smoke cigars for a while and then going back - of course the experience will seem 'washed out'. C'est la vie.

Take a long T-break and swicth up your set and setting.
 
Yeah JWH is evil lol. We were constantly high and falling asleep at 7pm, never having sex or going out. We were just constantly high on jwh, it was fun while it lasted but I've never been happier to say i put something in the past lol.

Yeah i know it will come back with time at least thats how my understanding of the brain works. I was more wondering who else was lured in with the ease and legality of obtaining only to find that this specific effect wasnt well known. Then how long it took for it to be the same again.
 
I smoke absolutely insane amounts of JWH, and when I get the chance to smoke bud I still get ripped. They seem to very much have a cross tolerance - so, cease smoking JWH for a day or two prior to smoking cannabis, and you'll still get high as hell. Or at least, I do, and I've been smoking massive amounts of this synthetic stuff for a while.
 
If anything JWH made me appreciate cannabis even more. JWH used to be a fun thing to do very seldom. But then it blew up and the quality went down the shitter. now most of the time youre smokin acetone or some other chemical they use to apply it. Mary Jane is my sweet sweet lover
 
Ya cross tolerance I think. But maybe you could use some better quality Cannabis Buds to smoke.

Unfortunately this isnt the case :( Even the best weed smoked the most effective way doesnt do the same thing it use to. A break would probably sort things out.

And i was smoking pure powder not random plants sprayed with jwh. Also acetone evaporates completely so unless your herbs smelt like nail polish remover there was no acetone. Think of why water doesnt leave residue on stuff same principle
 
Ive never gotten even close to that kind of tolerance. 500mg a day is so much. Ive had a gram for the last 3 months.

The only reason its in my posession is for when i switch jobs and have to take a drug test.

I would choose real THC products any day over this stuff. Theres just something missing in the JWH series.

Take a break, start exercising and get back into the flow of life, youll be amazed on how much youve been missing out on. Happened to me from freshman year to junior year, nothing but smoking in my friends loft.
 
Yeah I really wish we used it as a tool like i had planned. We were both weed free for 3 months could have gotten better jobs but no, we just abused the stuff to hell and back and are left in its wake. Would have been awesome if it saved money or anything but at the level we were using it was the same price as weed.

Like i said i love not being high all the time. Its absolutely ridiculous when i think about it but we were constantly high falling asleep at like 6pm right after work or after smoking mad jwh. Lived the heaviest of use 3 months in a daze basically. It actually feels like a cloud was lifted unlike when i quit weed for 3 months, before i discovered jwh. I am glad i quit.
 
JWH caused chaos, that stupid shit may have gotten a few ppl high but the quality control on the stuff is horrendous. the pure compounds are ok, but stay the fuck away from the "spice" blends. ther all just garbage like sticks and leaves from the spice cabinet ground up. Tastes terrible and real weed usually costs less. Lots of ppl got sick from the stuff and sent to hospital. Not worth wasting ur money on unless u live in buttfuck egypt (like kentucky!) Spend ur money on real weed, unless thers no other option. If I had no choice, I'd go without rather than smoke that shit. Stick with weed
 
^ I agree, the spice is complete garbage. As much as the JWH-18 is a tease to real thc even in pure form, the spice is even worse.
 
I've smoked it during the dry times.
Honestly weed is still good. Its so easy to take to much JWH and have anxiety...
Give me mellow weed any day.
 
i've been smoking herbal blends from the headshop for about a year almost daily. i did get chance to purchase some good ass bud to smoke, and so i did. i found that when smoking the marijuana i wasn't really getting high from it. i buy the idea of some kind of cross tolerance with the spice/marijuana.
 
I've tryied pure jwh 18, and magic dragon. the jwh 18 was on 10mg, and I vaped it instead of smoking it. It did something, made me hungry and a lil relaxed, but thats about it. The magic dragon on the other hand, got me high for roughly 30 minutes (what a rip!) All spice blends taste like shit imo, and smell terrible when smoked. The smell afterwards is very noticeable compared to weed smoke, it just plain stinks like burning chemicals. I will not smoke this stuff again....good thing both items were free samples:) I wouldnt buy it, its a bit more expensive than dank, I'd rather not pay $40 for 2 grams of that shit, when I could get an 8th of weed for the same price
