Bupe Did I throw myself into withdrawal?

Last night my friend threw me two of the 8mg subbies. As a person with a small tolerance to opiates, I figured a little less than half of the pill would be good to take (don't actually know if this was a good idea, probably should have taken less). Ultimately though, I consumed 3mg initially and then 1mg (both sublingually) a few hours after the initial dose. The high was kinda weird; definitely a lack of that surge of euphoria that comes with oxycodone. The best word to describe the high was that I was content with life. Not euphoric, just content. It was pretty decent.

Anyway, it's now the next morning and WOW, I feel TERRIBLE. I was barely able to get two hours of sleep and I woke up with my pillow completely drenched in sweat. My eyes are tearing like crazy. I'm extremely irritable to the point that I feel like I'm going to snap at someone any second. My stomach is killing me from a combination of nausea/constipation, and I feel really depressed. It's also difficult to swallow and my whole body just aches.

Is there any way something could have went wrong and caused withdrawal symptoms to come about from just one use? Has anyone ever had a similar experience? Right now I'm thinking I probably took too high of a dose for my first time. If anyone can confirm this I would greatly appreciate it, 'cause I'm buggin' the fuck out right now. I know I made a very stupid mistake not reading up more on this prior to dosing but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what exactly happened and how long it should last, and perhaps any advice besides of course abstaining from using again.

don't think you threw yourself into wd; just too high of a dose. Bupe is really some strong shit and people underestimate it because there isnt much high to opiate tolerant indiviuals.


if you're not opiate tolerant it can be a lot to handle.it'll subside in the next day probably. give or take

When was the last time you had another opiate? If u didn't have any opiates lingering on ur receptors, then it's doubtful that u have any w/d. It can't create instant dependance, and as the previous poster said, people don't realize how powerful bupe is, ur best bet was 1-2 mg Max when you have little or no tolerance. Chances are if u had no opiates recent enough for precipitated w/d that you probably are just coming down hard off a strong opioid. Mb a benzo n relaxation could help. Or even another opiate like oxycodone to relax u n then ease u down the rest if the day. Good luck!

bupe is to not be fucked with unless u have enough experience where u dont need to ask people for help, ui shoulda started out with like 1mg especially since uv been clean for 3 weeks like u said.

yeah you're 100% right, I learned my lesson though at least, so this shit won't happen again in the future. in retrospect i don't have it as bad as some of people in the stories you guys are mentioning (throwing up for 12 hrs and such)

Haha yeah deffo too high a dose. i started bupe on 2mg and puked up a few times hehe and never really enjoyed bupe until my 3rd dose. i also find snorting bupe works best as its easier to control the dose and it kicks in quicker

I am a very opiate tolerant user, but when i was at rehab after doing a year in jail i did some bupe. I did less than 2mg, after 13 months clean and i was rocked for hours. Now that bliss only lasted 2 days before i was up to my usual dose of 8-16mg daily, but at first it was very strong after no exposure for a while. I even puked a few times.

yeah my first experience with bupe: i was probly 16 i had no idea what it was, i had never done any other opiate except vicodin - i took 2 2 mg subutex form my sister and gobbled those little fuckers down without a clue as to what they were. they were tiny, and i figured my sis takes them so fuck it i can too.

i damn near OD'd i was so fucked beyond belief i was up all night itching throwing up and having a generally out of it experience. I ended up driving a little ways because my sister needed me to pick up my brother in her car with her, but for some reason she could not do it....she was probly high on her subs ......and i could not tell her why i was so fucked up so it was a delicate situation. I kept it together and pullled over to yack a couple of times saying i ate something shitty...

it was a horrible experience and i DEF learned my lesson about identifying pills before snacking them down.
but yeah bupe is crazy shit specially with no tolerance...this i know. Although i cant say i felt all that terrible the next day, just tired as fuck.

Yeah I've seen this happen to people with less than .25mg of bupe believe it or not (specifically my ex g/f who was insanely sensitive to opiates...needless to say that didn't end well).

im not sure , twas long ago....i am pretty sure i tried to sublingual but ended up swallowing them cuz they made my mouth water profusely.....but that might have been ativans on a diff occasion......

remember if you take other opiates when you take subetex it is designed to bind to opiate cells better but at the same time push other opiates out which is why people get a w/d symtoms, if you are addicted to other opiates burp is defo not a good choice for rec use and even if your not addicted to other opiates dont take it till 24 hours after you took any, longer for methdone. 3mg is pretty good for rec use if you not been a massive opiate user over the years, its also one of the longest acting opiates.
