not sure where this belongs and ive tried to search the site but couldnt find exactly what im looking for

so my question has 2 parts...
1. my friend is on probation in the state of nj and could possibly be drug tested (via) urine test in 2 days. last weekend he took 25 mgs of diazepam over the course of 2 days. so basically from the time he took the diazepem until the day of the test will be a total of 11 days. 5 days after he took the diazepam he took a calloway integrated e-z split key instant test and cacme positive for benzos. anyone know a realistic time period it will take for this to get out of his system? ive read 7-10 days on erowid...but also read 1-6 weeks. this seems strange that it can vary that much. so if anyone has any experience w diaepam and urine tests i would like to hear of your experience. also, is there anything that he can do in the next 2 days to possibly help this get out of his system? over the counter detox drinks, etc im skeptical and doubt those even work.

question 2
does anyone know if the probation department in nj even tests for benzos? i would assume that they only use a 5 panel drug test...which doesnt check for benzos. it would seem strange to me that they would test for benzos when a person could have very easily have a legit script from a dr. if anyone has any info on what the PO's test for it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks!

HOMELESS to .... .... NASDD?

I know we've got enough NJ peeps, some of whom are on probation, that they can help with the second question. The first...you may get your answers if you search BDD and-or their drug testing sub-forum.

Well I'm on parole in PA but my PO gives me an 8panel mouthswab that includes benzos I think that most likely the test is going to include benzos, but by day 11 I would imagine the valium would be out of ur system..I think u should be fine.

yes, they do. It really depends though, I mean, it cost money and all. They might only test for important things.
