So ive been on my run for 18 hours now. Im diabetic and have to pay close attention to my glucose, obviously. I ate 2 or 3 bites of hamburger helper and mainly been drinking gatorade and mtn dews all day to make sure i do not run into hypoglycemia. Did a finger prick and it was at 68 which is getting dangerous. I ate a couple glucose tabs to spike it so its fine now but I cannot keep relying on soda cuz it will keep spiking and plummeting. Usually, i eat good meal before a bender, but it completely slipped my damn mind. I need ideas on something balanced I can down easily. Any ideas? I am thinking of making oatmeal and water it down so I can drink it? Any fellow diabetics on here that use meth that can contribute advice?

As hard as this may be to hear... peanut butter.... or any protein really. If you can get a protein shake you'd be fine. It would raise your sugar and keep it stable. Be careful man and have fun!

I would check my blood sugar frequently during and after use. Keep glucose tablets on you at all times. You can buy them at any pharmacy and at Walmart. Smoking cigarettes increase blood sugar levels. I would think amp use would increase the blood sugars too. That's just my guess. But it speeds up metabolism so low b/s can happen too. Idk. Check your blood sugars frequently and be careful. I would stop using it. Maybe it's causing damage to your pancreas. Let it heal. It may start working again.

Hey buddy im diabetic too, and on the same mission wink wink. Since ur awake it helps to monitor at fixed intervals, like every hour or so, and since we cant eat so well i found its better to have insulin in smaller amounts spaced out over a period of time, rather than one large dose. Have insulin to balance ur sugar levels whenever you check em. Eat small amounts of something easy to gulp down, like I use a high carb cereal (pronutro) that i can just gulp down. Speed increases heart rate and what not so its not surprising it affects glucose levels. Thats why you need CARBOHYDRATES, sugary stuff doesnt last with that kinda pulse rate. If ur gonna try sleep, remember to chow something. Keep safe, enjoy ur trip.
