Stimulants Dextro amphetamine tolerance

Hi guys

quick question

I use 20 mg's dextroamphetamines once a week (docters prescription) saturdays

If I where to use 5 mg's wednesday (perhaps nasally) one time, will I already have a higher tolerence by the next saturday ?

Once a week and your tolerance will pretty much stay at 20mg forever.

It is such a low amount and frequency that you aren't going to build any kind of tolerance to it.

I've heard of people doing much higher, like 60mg to 100mg daily, and resetting their tolerance after abstaining for a few weeks.

I can verify this, as I was up to 60mg to get a decent buzz, stopped for a few weeks, and 10mg gave me the same sensation that 60 used to.

Tolerance is a misnomer, it basically means your used to the effect of the substance. I believe it's called psychosomatic.
The substance still has the same effect; but in your mind you want more. This is where the cycle of drug abuse kicks in.
Pretty much every substance has the same outcome. The key is to catch it when it becomes a problem and move on.
Don't be a slave to any one substance; dodge, duck and dive. Chop and change; just don't get tangled up in the loop.
