Amphetamine withdrawals are honestly pretty easy to deal with. The worst of it IME is going to be mental, like feeling you absolutely need it to function which isn’t helped by the extreme tiredness you’re going to experience over the first few days. If you’re able to, clear your schedule for the new few days and just let yourself sleep. If you’re having problems sleeping you could try some OTC stuff like Melatonin, or my personal favorite WD aid - alcohol. I don’t like to recommend Benadryl or sleep aids that contain DPH because as they do help you fall asleep, it’s not enough at the therapeutic doses to help people unable to sleep from withdrawal and taking it in higher doses, for me anyway, just makes me feel even worse.
I might have misunderstood you too, are you saying Dexedrine caused those side effects or you got them after you stopped taking it? If you stick to your normal dose, prescribed amphetamines don’t usually just stop working in people who have been on it for 2 years. You might not feel high from them, but they still do what they’re supposed to in long term use. If you abuse them often and then go back to say 30mg is when they stop being effective because you not only raised your tolerance, but it takes a bit for your body to adapt to your daily dose and raising/lowering it often will fuck up the effectiveness.
But either way suicidal thoughts and severe mental changes in general are a possible side effect but as far as I know are considered rare and you definitely shouldn’t be on Dexedrine if it’s causing major changes to your mental state. I’ve never really heard of anybody developing those twackrd from amphetamine withdrawal though
