I found this note written scribbled on a sheet of paper on the bus one day and it said;
"The stims I tried and prefer/or not for recreational / legit ADHD use;
Concerta 36mg= When taken for ADHD was smooth at first, good general focus, the comedown was light, but after a while (2 weeks+) becomes "unstable" (inconsistent) with me, as in sometimes it would work like I wanted it to and sometimes it wouldn't, it started to get me depressed more easily (added to my depression). "Recreationally" i couldn't see it working out, too much inconsistencies and "bodyload" after a while.
Ritalin = The only time I used "Ritalin" was when I "deconstructed" (broke down a 36mg Concerta tablet and found/took the methylphenidate within it and disregarded the rest ie. fillers, bindings, wax...etc) That was a hell of a time for me = good and bad. It took 20mins or so for me to notice any effect from the "newly acquired Ritalin" , it wasn't anything special, just the usual ( what you would expect of a normal "comeup" from any pharmaceutical stimulant but much lighter. After another 30 minutes or so I started to feel it kick in even harder now and it was pretty much at it's peak . I was at the peak for between 2-3 hours from what I can remember. Then the effects started to drastically diminish (the dreaded crash) was coming FAST. I was at baseline and feeling lower than ever (even more so than Concerta) within an hour after the peak. I was sipping Gatorade at the time and popped 1mg of Xanax which helped alot eventually, was still feeling the crash after the 1mg xanax though. So it was quite bad. Wouldn't really want to try that again unless I was desperate ( but the come up/peak was not bad actually)
Adderrall XR (Dosages between 5-10mg) = A bit better for me, for my ADHD it helped more so than Concerta / "Ritalin" . In therms of "focus" it had more of a generalized focus effect, i wanted to focus and do everything rather than concentrate on one thing. So that wasn't much of a good thing. Again , the comedown is what made me stop taking it. It was still very "harsh" for me, drastic and I got easily depressed again."
