Dexamphetamine

Is it safe to take 4x 5mg of Dexamphetamine whilst drinking alcohol? What are you thoughts, recommendations and past experiences?

Taking dexamphetamine (a.k.a. Dexedrine, dextroamphetamine) while drinking isn't recommended but it is possible. Just make sure to stay hydrated (as both alcohol and dexamphetamine cause dehydration - combining the two causes even worse dehydration). Don't go overboard with the alcohol either, which will be harder than it sounds because amphetamines tend to make you think you're less drunk than you really are.

What's your amphetamine tolerance like? Do you normally need to take 20mg of Dex?

As long as this isn't an insanely high dosage for you(20mg) then i don't think there is anything too serious to worry about.
As NeighborhoodThreat said, its really important to make sure that you're properly hydrated, especially when mixing alcohol and amphetamine.
and id also recommend not drinking excessively as you aren't always able to accurately judge how drunk you are when taking amphetamines.

It's perfectly safe at that dose unless you overdo it with the booze from the stimulation. 20 mg won't dehydrate you much by itself unless you are insanely sensitive, which is very unlikely, or are exercising like mad.

Thanks for the help. My mate was asking whether it was recommended or not so I decided to get the internets opinion. So stay hydrated and be aware of how much you drink. Got it

You will be able to drink more alcohol, with less effect so be careful driving the next day. I would recommend taking phets with alcohol rather than drinking alone. You're mind won't be as hazy and your judgement will be better. BTW I'm not exactly pro-drug, but I'm an ex alcoholic and could always behave and manage to stay out of lockup, only if I took some speed before a big drinking sesh. Thats just my two bobs worth anyway man

You will feel like you will able to drink much more and think your not as drunk as what you really are. Some people do it, but IME it's like taking lots of benzos with meth, kinda.

The only danger in this combination is the high risk of getting dehydrated which is extremely dangerous especially since alcohol impairs your judgement. The stimulant will allow you to drink much more before you feel the sleepy depressant feeling that alcohol consumption can bring about. While this is great for drinking contests haha you can risk alcohol poisoning especially if you consume a large amount of stimulants. Stay safe -
