I'm not sure where this belongs, but I figure I'll share it with the visual arts heads in this forum. I have had an obsession with audio visual arts since the early 90s, when I was first introduced to the Warez scene and people would include assembly demos for their crews in the packets. As time progressed, similar programming efforts went into designing AVS presets for winamp, and I quickly shifted my attention toward this medium for a few years. However, I was recently re-introduced to the demo scene, and I am absolutely amazed at how large and sophisticated it has become. I figure that anyone in here that has an appreciation for 3d animation, programming, or music videos will appreciate what these release crews are doing for progressive art.
