Dead Rising 2 / DR2 Case Zero

So I just downloaded the DLC/XBLA title Dead Rising 2 Case Zero (found on XBLA under the exact name: DR2 Case Zero, in case you can't find it - it costs 400 Microsoft Points).

It will be followed at the end of the month by the full retail version of Dead Rising 2.

Who here downloaded DR2 Case Zero? I'm waiting for tonight to chop till I drop!

surprised this thread hasnt got more attention this game is great fun, my only real gripe is with co-op play, it would be great if both people were able to go to different areas of the map from each other
 
^ You begin very slow, it's a bit a pain in the ass, but gaining PPs you gain some speed.
I'm level 17 and it's ok, but there is some lag on the large groups of zombies, which wasnt there in the first and the loading times are painfully long.
Otherwise it's a great game, very much like the first but maybe easier (survivor's AI is greatly improved).
 
completed it and hit level 50 a bit quick, online co-op is ok but it takes ages to connect to a game and both players have to stay in the same area, also with hardly anyone having a headset on ps3 there's very little communication. Unless there's any amazing DLC lined up I'll probably trade it for fallout new vegas when it comes out and maybe buy it again when it's bargain priced.
 
This game isn't sufficiently polished like the first, not counting some bugs here and there.
It's an ok game but the first explodes it at large with it's dynamite realisation. And not counting the graphics. DR1 forever and FTW.

The first DR was never polished, it was released half-developed... maybe even broken. Everything from graphical glitches, poor controls, crummy animation, stupid save system, lack of mid-game voiceovers... yuk!

From the reviews I've read, things haven't changed that much.
 
I'm used to the game now and enjoy it much more. If only Chuck could go faster... Otherwise it's real fun.
