This may just be the best zombie game evar.
Definitely is the best game trailer I've ever seen.

it IS a great trailer and the fact that its going to be first person melee focused with rpg elements makes it sound amazing.
i bothers me that its due to be released this year and theres no game footage yet.
 
i disagree. oblivion (and the elder scrolls series) has pulled off melee combat quite well. ive seen the trailer for skyrim and theyve seem to improved upon themselves again.
 
I've read that optional third person view in Oblivion and Fallout 3 is unplayable.
 
yep. you read correct.
the elder scrolls have definitely addressed that in skyrim though

You can choose between first person and third person views. But the third person view is known to be less playable.

If you chose the third person view and were satisfied with it, I don't see where the problem is ;)
 
Anyone pick this game up?

I picked it up on tuesday, its basically a fallout style game with zombies, co-op is similar to boarderlands. Seeing as I love zombies and fallout 3 i think the game is amazing =D
 
I'm loving dead island. It's cheap fun, and pretty old fashioned but it's so fucking hilarious, intentionally and unintentionally. Try playing with a mate, it's a lot more fun.
 
^ yeah but in the long run? I'll buy it when it's 20 euros, though, 'cause I love zombis.
 
An awesomely fun game just like Borderlands. However my save file got corrupted and I had such awesome weapons as well, legendary quality and like 77% of the way through. T_T
