Darvocet and Sex

When I'm on Darvocet my sex drive is really high. My cock is rock hard, but it's just about impossible to cum!

anyone else get this? is this normal?
 
Darvocet is a horrible drug, IMO. I've tried it a few times, perhaps at dangerous doses. And even on 300-400mg, I had little-to-no results. Felt basically nothing other than my liver being angry at me. Not enough to direct my sexuality, that's for sure. I don't understand why it even exists...

For this situation, I'd say just go with it. You can have sex for hours, if that's what's going on. Who does not want to have sex for hours? I'm sure your partner would ;)

Be safe, don't take too much. But don't worry about not being able to ejaculate. The effects wear off in a few hours, if they do take effect, so after a few hours of passionate sex, things should work their magic!

Have you not ever tried narcotics(Opiates/Opioids) before? If not then welcome to the world of Opiates. You also get to enjoy not being able to piss, having a shit hurts so bad, you swear to god its coming out sideways, areas of your body with poor blood flow, or I should say...less blood flow, itching so bad you wanna fucking tear them off, and puking all over yourself but feeling good while doing it=D

Your not even getting the best of it either, why you ask? Because darvocet is the shittiest opiate known to man. I wanna say tramadol is, but I dont consider it an opiate. I can't believe people actually use Darvocet.

Let me educate you a little. Lets say I punch you and break your nose.(I wouldn't punch you in the nose, druggies are all like brothers to me=D) You go to the hospital, and they fix you up. The doctor calls for a weaker opiate like codeine because the injury doesn't require a more potent one like morphine.

You get home and the codeine doesn't work. You go back to the doctor and tell him no matter how much codeine you take, you get no relief from your pain. He knows immediately that you are one of the poor 10% of people in the white population who's body cannot metabolize codeine into morphine. If your body can't do this, than codeine is useless because it is a pro-drug. Codeine=Metabolism=Morphine, thats how it works. Anyways, so the codeine doesn't help. Here is where Dextropropoxyphene or trade name darvocet is usefull. Though not as strong as codeine even, it is believed to be an adequate pain reliever for less painfull injuries.

Other than the story I just told you, Darvocet isn't really used anymore , which is sad because it hasn't really been around very long. Anyways, if you can enjoy though, than go ahead. I was always for holding off on the potent opiates and enjoying the less potent ones first. I wish I could get off on darvocet:p

What your feeling is normal buddy. I remember when I took my first dilaudid, I was suppose to fuck my girlfriend that night for the first time, I ended up screwing her for two hours, and still didn't cum once. She was all depressed because we were both virgins and she couldn't "please" me.:\
 
I always got affects from Darvocet. Though it wasn't like "normal" opiates, the effects were still pleasing. As far as rock hard cocks go, opiates leave me loose and limp.

Btw, tramadol is not an opiate because it does not come from the opiate poppy. It is an opiod though because of it's action at the opiate receptor sites in the brain.
 
Darvocet has week serotonigenic (sp?) activity, which might contribute to the sexual effects you're experiencing. However, opiates personally make me extremely horny, and make sex amazing, provided the dose isn't too high...then its nausea time.

As far as darvocets not working, well, thats a personal thing. They're weak, they make codeine look serious, but they do work for some people. So, if they work for you, more power to you.
 
I hate darvocet, however sex on Oxycodone is amazing and other opiates as well. The entire experience feels orgasmic much less if you actually do get off which then it's just beyond amazing. My husband and I have the best opiate sex.. I was given darvocet once even without an opiate tolerance they did nothing for me.
 
What about Tramadol? Have people experienced prolonged 'rock-hard cocks' with that crap? I got prescribed 100 50mg tramadol and after pumping the dose up to 450mg and just feeling slightly tired, I'm looking for other uses for them.
 
So, purely for scientific purposes:

took 250mg Tramadol and around 80mg Codeine (note: I have a very high tolerance to codeine, not sure if tramadol is affected by this but it takes about 250 for me to feel the slightest thing from tramadol).
30 minutes later I was feeling slightly groovy, and had sex. I managed to keep it up for around 5 minutes and then it just went limp. I was well in the mood but just couldn't keep it up. So for me atleast, Tramadol/Codeine is not good for prolonging sex.
 
All opioids are capable of producing what you describe. Some people get a boost to their libido as the result of certain opioids, or a decline in their libido as a result of others.
