So I UTFSE and looked around Erowid.org couldnt find an answer to this question.... so maybe someone here at bluelight can help me out... What is a dangerous amount of paracetamol to consume at one time? Ive recently been taking Tylenol 3 without doing a CWE and dont really want to fuck up my liver... Usually I just pop 3 or 4 of em... so is that unhealthy or what?

Theres a bunch of threads on this if you search, im pretty sure you getting into risky territory if you take 6-8g of paracetamol. having 3/4 tylenols is fine without CWE if your doing it every so often but if your doing it often i.e daily i would consider it.

I asked a doctor about this and he said that someone who had taken 7 - 8,000 mg paracetamol would be considered an overdose and require hospital treatment. I suppose that tallies with the 6 - 8g mentioned before. Certainly the levels given on OTC drugs are well below any possible danger level.

I only take the T3s maybe once per week.... does that still put me in the danger zone? I mean I wouldnt really consider once per week often but maybe Im wrong:\

Just do CWE, what's the point risking liver damage? You may be OK, you may not be - it's a gamble.

^^^Believe me I would prefer to do a CWE however if my wife saw that shit cooling off in the fridge she would not be happy. She knows I take the T3s she just doesnt have any idea about how I abuse them.... maybe someone could recommend some kind of stealth CWE that would be easy to conseal;)

You don't need a fridge. Crush the tablets, put in a mug and mix thoroughly with warm water (35 degrees) and leave to cool for 30 minutes. Put mug in a bowl of ice water, stir solutions as it cools for 30 minutes. Spoon solution into a coffee filter over a large flask - hold the filter on by using elastic bands. You may have to use more than one flask depending on how much solution you have, and how strong the filters are (IE. how much weight they can take.) Leave to filter for as long as it takes - a few hours. Serve on the rocks with a slice of lemon.

Keep the codeine out of sunlight. You can do this setup out of the way, in your basement or garage for example.

If you take T3's once a week.. and pop about 3/4.. I think it's fair to say you don't have much to worry about.

I've never had enough faith in my ability to produce the desired result safely every time and would have no way of testing them. Which is why I'd rather just not take too much paracetamol in the first place. Sorry Madhatter4, I'm not familiar with T3's and how much paracetamol/tylenol is in them. If you could tell me then I'd give you some advice/ideas.

If you're worried about your wife finding out...just do it like I do it. I've never had any problems with this method, and it's much easier then the un-necessary warming/cooling method.

1) Dissolve in water. For 24 pills I use 50-100 mLs, depends on how I'm-a feeling.
2) Stir.
3) Filter.
4) Dispose of evidence, i.e. APAP goo and such.
5) Dispose of codeine. You may choose to drink it if you like.

One thing: do you drink on a daily basis? If you do- be careful. Alcohol induces the production of enzymes that take acetaminophen and make it very hepatotoxic. If you're gonna take acetaminophen every day- cut the drinks down or stop completely.

Both make heavy demands on your liver, so it's hammering your liver twice if you drink a lot of alcohol then for your hangover, swallow high doses of paracetamol. Generally speaking, I was told by a doctor that 7,000 to 8,000 mg would be considered an overdose and require hospital treatment, but as Axxaer and theseeker are saying, there may be no immediate symptoms of overdose so it's easy to initially think you are OK with a big dose, and when you are heading towards these high doses you have to remember that one person's tolerance will not be the same as the next person, so you are taking quite big risks.
