Crashing
Bluelighter
Alright, this is a very strange and unordinary combo for me, especially because i have had a bottle of yohimbe standardized for 8mg yohimbine alkaloids per pill that i've had for years... i never take it.
So I had this horrendous cocktail, because I only had very limited resources at the time yet craved a strong experience.
I took 14mg of yohimbine alkaloids and shortly after began to feel the tingly extremities, pounding heart type effects that are strange and almost unwelcomed. This always happens on this substance.
But then I begin to drink a 24oz Steel Reserve high gravity malt liquor. I drank that within about 10 minutes, and with little no no alcohol tolerance it got me quite buzzed. Now the combination is starting to get interesting. The yohimbine and alcohol has me feeling more or less how I would feel on any stimulant and alcohol combination, which was rather unexpected (and potentially dangerous).
This is where shit really hit the fan. I had a synthetic blend of cannabinoids that i was quite familiar with, so i loaded a decent sized one hitter and held it in for a long time. Upon exhalation, the world around me began to take on a strange geometric tinge, like almost clear geometry was covering everything i looked at, outlined by nearly invisible lines. Then, i realized my heart beating pretty hard. So i concentrated on it, but rather than get anxious or paranoid about it I began to hear my heartbeat as the pounding of a bass drum.
I got nauseas and laid down on my back, and then wham! I was surrounded by spiritual shaman type figures that weren't visible but they were there, and they were all playing this traditional sounding music on wooden instruments with a lot of percussion, dancing around me in circles. It wasn't a hallucination, more of a vision. I was still grounded in reality, but this was all going on in my thoughts. As i concentrated on the shamanic chant more and more, the level or euphoria i experienced increased dramatically.
I went inside after than incredible scenario faded away. (It's amazing how these things come and go, but are hardly controllable)
I then listened to a Deerhunter song (Earthquake) through some headphones in the dark, and had one of the most psychedelic moments (on top of the shaman dance) that I could ever experience whilst not being on a psychedelic drug (other than the noids obviously).
I am a musician, so this was actually quite a helpful vision. But, talk about synesthesia - every aspect of the song was completely visible with my eyes closed. Every sound in the song had it's own color and shape that just sort of created the shape of a hurricane with the guitars around the outside center, being purple and blue water droplets racing around in circles.
The bass was the top and bottom of the entire sound, and looked like the central wheel, sort of like an apple that has been eaten. Narrow in the middle but wide on top and bottom, and it was vibrant red - holding the song together. The vocals were a whitish static looking thing like a broken TV that emanated horizontally throughout the entire hurricane of noise, and the percussion were denoted by overall intensity shifts with each hit of the snare or kick drum, and filled in other colors like yellow, pink, and green.
I felt that I completely understood every aspect of the song, including how it was written, why it was written, and how it was recorded and which techniques were implemented to get each sound. It was intense.
I don't know what it was exactly, but the combo of alcohol, yomhimbe, and synth noids seriously tuned my brain into music. I was just viewing music, whether i was actually listening to music or not... there it was before my eyes! Haha, crazy shit.
Maybe someone else has experienced this, as I have before on LSD and shrooms but never on these desperate sub par chemical mixtures.
