So Im not sure how many car guys are on this forum, but Im sure any car nut would recognize this aftermarket performance part. I had a few spares laying around so I figured Id try to make a pipe out of it. So I made a decent bowl using the laithe at work, and used a couple o-rings to seal it up with. I am extremely happy with the reuslt. My goal was to make the pipe look completely the same before and after I modified it, so if anyone sees it they just think, "Oh hey, a blow off valve". The thing hits very hard, I beleive its because the hole I used for the stem in the bowl is very large, allowing a lot of flow and it doesnt have very far to travel. The bowl is not huge, but decently deep, and fits a medium brass screen perfectly. When done, the bowl slides back into the blow off valves piston and sits nice and snug after I lined it with the soft side of velcro. This also keeps the bowl from rattling around. Then screw the top back on and everything is sealed with 0-rings so it keeps down on your weed smell getting out.

Heres some pics I took of it, sorry for the crappy pics, the camera on my phone is taking a crap. I made a few and then had my personal one hard anodized in black.

Unscrew the top and find the bowl snugly stashed inside.

Remove the bowl from inside, flip the blow off valve uspide down and push the bowl into the short blow off valve port. It will seal with two large o-rings around the base of the bowl.

Heres a picture of the parts. This shot you can see the o-rings that keep the bowl sealed, and the size of the hole down the stem.

His car doesn't work, man! He used his BOV for a bong, so now he just gets stoned and sits around the house! =D

I'm not really a car guy or a gearhead, but I still wouldn't mind having one. It's pretty awesome looking. A headshop near me buys bongs and pipes people make, you might look into that too.
 
Totally agreed I'd buy one as well I love cars (and motorcycles for that matter) and would rock a pipe like this in a heart beat.
 
My mate is talking about creating a Bong with so many car features. He is planning to rig up an odometer to an ignition set up which will click over every time a bong is lit, so effectively it will count how many times the bong has been smoked haha. And he was going on and on about other shit, like a pressure gauge showing the pressure building up as you toke in the bong. Oh man i'll have to talk to him about it and tell you guys when i'm not this high.
 
^ Shit even if he just put a pressure gauge & stuff on a normal bong. You know that'd be a sweet novelty item to own. Hey guys i'm gonna do a 50 psi hit!! haha.
