Been living in CA for over a decade and haven't been in new england the for as long, until recently and was curious what the drugs are looking like these days on this side of the country. The nuances of the drug culture on separate sides of the country have always been very apparent, but in sure fentanyl has left a similar mark on drug markets countrywide, in slightly unique ways. Has confetty (con - cos of the pharmacology of fentanyl, im not a fan. Fetty - cos, well just cos. Hence, confetty) completely replaced heroin the way it has in ca, at least from what I've seen? In my area, heroin is practically a myth now. Occasionally someone will have heard so and so has some black, but rarely do i see it. Alls you can find are rock hard chunks of condensed Fetty, in several of different colors. I currently coped a bag of what I was told was heroin in new england ( I doubted this to be true ) and received a bag of blueish powder with some small granuals in it. I assumed it was Fetty but upon testing a few hits off foil, I found it didn't taste like the Fetty I was used to, and the granuals melted down into little brown blobs not much different from the west coast tar. Snorting it didn't taste/smell like what I was used to for heroin out here, but I still couldn't conclude what it was. The heavy nod and splitting headache that followed made me think it was Fetty, but I found it odd how much different it was compared to West Coast. I'm just curious if anyone had any more insite they'd like to share. Also, ive heard meth was starting to become more common in urban areas in the northeast but have yer to witness it so any info on that would be nice as well. Have an at least ok day, cos these days, a good day is a bit of a stretch.
