I having really bad depression recently, it absolutly horrid. This condition gives me crying spells, usually 5-10 times a day(sober), so i gotta stay high all the time(https://listenonrepeat.com/?v=hzaQDi_KYBg#Nightcore_::_Stay_High_All_The_Time -Beutiful). But a few days ago my life began hurting extremly worse for bad event and guess what happened?!?!?!? I had a crying spell. high. how is this even possible???? I'm indeedly wasted but how? and that was about 3 days ago. last night, something almost as bad happened. I have hyper depression as of now but I'm hugely wasted. i had crying spell, i can't stop thinking of depression causes, i feel misreble, How is it possible for this to happen when I'm this high. Holy shit I'm litterally having another crying spell right now. omg. im so confused

pbuilder, just because you have no real friends and others treat you like shit doesn't mean you have to project that onto others.

Nancy, things will get better but you do have to believe and work towards a better tomorrow. Believe me, I know very well what depression is. I have had family members commit suicide and some very close ones attempt suicide but fail. To be honest you might get a better response in one of the support threads. But since it is here, I want to help.

Know that you are not alone and there are many that struggle, in fact everyone struggles. I don't believe life is easy for anyone. Some are better at ignoring their circumstance and continuing on with daily life than others though. I do not think that I am one of those. One thing I can say about weed is that it might seem to help at first but as tolerance builds and you progress in your use from nightly to daily and nightly.. getting high will lose the feeling of escape and release and leave you feeling more stuck than anything else. The more you use it to cover up problems the more you need it and the less effect it has as well. So that is to say if last week a bowl got you high enough to forget about your trouble, next week it might be two or three, probably soon a j every hour or two. At least thats how it progressed for me. When I couldn't smoke every 1-2 hours I would get very anxious and my mind could only think about one thing.

I'm not going to say you should stop smoking all together, but giving yourself a chance to fully grasp what has happened and allow new memories to form is a good idea. Also, not being stoned all day will force you to go out and find some sort of excitement(or even distraction at first) rather than just using cannabis to forget about what was bothering you. The thing about using any drug to forget about your trouble is that no drug will keep you high forever. Eventually you have to come back to reality and face your own emotions. IME, it is much easier earlier than later. Some things hurt forever but we find healthy ways to cope with them and understand more.

What's wrong with seeing a psychiatrist? I was giving a seemingly very depressed person the correct advice. There is nothing wrong with seeking professional help for mental health problems. I would say it's irresponsible to do anything else as severe depression is not a problem to be taken lightly, you dont want to try to self medicate.

You're response to me was very rude.

stop telling yourself you have "hyper depression". Just roll with it.

Life can be pretty shitty. Ya never know what may be around the corner.

Marijuana doesn't make your depression go away, it's simply a helpful tool to ease the pain and help stabilize your mood while you work on your issues through soul searching, counseling, etc.. but the point is, you can't smoke away your problems and if you try to hide behind the hazy cloud, you're going to burn yourself.

I think you should seek professional help.

If you're depressed get help for it. Good luck.

If you drink alcohol, or use other drugs besides or with cannabis that could be making you sad.
