Here is the story.
I sold a printer on craigslist several weeks ago.
I sold it because I bought an all-in-one printer and didn't use the old one anymore. The printer was just sitting in the storage over a year.

The retail value of the printer was about $600 when I bought it. I had a brand new ink cartridge ($55) which was compatible with the printer, so I put the price $75 for the printer and ink cartridge.

A guy emailed me and said he was interested in the printer. We emailed back and forth like 20 times.
Finally, he said he wants to buy it but wants to test the printer before he buys. I agreed as I did not want to sell a broken printer. I didn't even turn it on at least a year.

He requested to deliver the printer to his office. I agreed as his office was in a big shopping mall near my house.
We met at his office, and he tested the printer for I think 40-50 minutes. I waited for him in the hall way while he was testing whatever he needed to.
The printer worked, and he paid me $75 in cash, so I left.

Two weeks and half later, however, he emailed me and said the printer has some electric connection problem and requested a refund.
He said that the printer still prints, but the power button has some problem so he has to unplug and plug the cable every time he needs to print.

I did NOT mention anything about the condition of the printer in the craigslist ad.
I didn't know the printer had a problem but I didn't put anything that would give people an impression that the printer works perfectly.
It was working before but I didn't touch it for long time.
On the ad, I simply put the model information and a photo of the printer.
Also, he tested the printer before he bought it.

Do I need to refund him?
I don't want to do unethical things, but I feel this is a bit too much to ask for a seller on craigslist.
Also, what would be a good way to tell him that I would not refund?

No, the way you described it there would be absolutely zero expectation of a refund.

Why would you sell a printer for $75 when it is worth $600?

Absent that, the buyer had his turn to test out the printer to find out if it is in good working order. From your description, it was. The return period was, well, nonexistent. It was a cash sale. I'm writing this from a computer I bought on craigslist that I had to spend my own cash on to add memory. I bought it in cash for a low price and knew exactly what I was doing. I could have bought a new one with a warranty, but I didn't. And if it stopped working, I wouldn't be in a position to complain.

Caveat emptor.

Looks to be safe to say no refund is needed. Since this is answered I'm going to go ahead and close it.
