Cocaine crack cut with speed

some guy went and bought some crack today and when he took his first hit he noticed it seemed a bit off. after arriving home he checked it out better and saw quite a bit of shine to his rocks. he assumes this is because the coke used was cut with speed, which wouldn't be surprising since the dealer sells both. he said it smokes real shitty and the familiar taste he enjoys from this drug is barely there. he's wondering if this happens often and if there is a better way to indulge in his habit other than his straight shooter and chore or perhaps he should use a certain method to improve his time. he has decided not to call this dealer again.
 
"speed" is a general term. crack is cut with all kinds of shit. u are lucky u didnt get soap or wax or talc.
 
I don`t think a dealer would cut a product with another valuable product. Money wise it doesn`t make much sense.
If it was cut with amphetamine I would think his "crack" high would last a lot longer. Did it?
 
^It makes sense because speed is less valuable then cocaine, but has somewhat similar effects. It would last longer though.

We have no way of knowing if your friend got drugs that were cut. In fact, I don't see what the question is.
 
his high was longer but not as much of a rush. the small amount of resin got him higher than a hit would. it was also much easier for him to go a while without hitting it again.
 
I'm sorry your friend got laced crack. I don't see any harm reduction in telling us though.

p.s. as OpiYum mentioned speed is a general slang term which doesn't universally mean any specific drug.

If it didn't have the intense rush he was looking for, he might have been able to go longer without hitting it again due to him not having to chase the rush since it wasn't there. I also don't see a dealer cutting crack with speed. It could have been cooked wrong or it could have just been plain coke. I've gotten coke(not crack) in very hard rocks that were very shiny, we call it fish scales around my neck of the woods, and non-cracked cocaine does not smoke very well, doesn't taste like crack, doesn't give you a rush since it don't smoke worth a damn, and would also explain why the resin hit got him higher than hits of the straight product.

On a different note, there is no way we can tell what your friend was sold. As far as I know, these kinds of threads aren't allowed and this will probably be deleted. Just a heads up.
