Covering up a party

Well sometime next summer I'm going to have a party at my house, everyone will be smoking(cannabis), partying, and drinking. However the problem is that some people that visit regularly would notice the smell (they can smell really good) and some bad stuff would go down.

So what's the best way to completely cover the smell of MJ in a medium sized house?

definitely no rolled items (joints / blunts)

windows need to be open

as long as you do that it should clear out within a couple hours

however if those wont work, then i suppose only incents would do the trick

before something bad happens.
 
Damn I wouldnt risk it you could always just burn outside. or in just one well ventilated room, and use smoke away candles
 
If you have a garage you can blaze in there. just open the garage door to the outside afterwords. smell wont linger longer than 3/hr but im not 100% sure for large groups
use pipes or bubblers for the least smoke. unless u got loads of green or if peeps bring there own bud I wouldnt recomend bongs as you will run through sacks quick with large groups.

also remember if you have multiple hookas or large bongs you may need to hide them at one point and that may be hard if your in a pinch (parents, cops, nieghbors).
 
invest in one of those fans that you suck air through the back and point the fan out the window - blow smoke through...or you could just leave the smoking outside
 
So is maybe partying and getting drunk best left inside, and when everyone wants to get stoned they can go out on my deck or something?
 
Back when I was in highschool ppl used to go in the bathroom with the shower and fans turned on hot wait till the room was full of steam and go smoke in there (hawaiian how box). The steam seems to absorb the smell and alow it to be sucked out alot faster than if the room wasnt full of steam.
 
The proper solution is to smoke outside. This is absolutely standard operating procedure at a party - 75% of parties or thereabouts. Only stoner (as in, smokes inside regularly) hosted parties will allow smoking weed inside, IME. Keeping the pot smoking on the deck also keeps it out of the party proper, which is advantageous if you have guests who aren't into weed.
 
^As above toke outside is the best solution and as an added bonus, enjoy the fresh cool night air, or smoke in a friend's car. If inside is the residence only option VENTILATE like mad and burn incence also use a single isolated area like a bedroom or the garage as the designated toking area instead of everyone blazing all over the house.
 
Just smoke outdoors. Or make edible food that has herb in it and just eat that and still smoke outside.
 
Umm, I would say either have a fan near the window blowing in fresh air, or, if its too cold have the fan blowing air out the window.
If I were you, I'd stick to smoking in one room, and one room only, make sure the door is shut.
And febreeze works well to cover it up after the smoking is done
Also,I would keep the AC/Heater on the whole time just to have ventalation and to keep air moving around and being recirculated throught the filter (most people I know have AC/Heater that have a 3 month HEPA filter that needs to be replaced every 3 months, if you have an AC with a filter, and some febreeze, you'd be good , just give it 12-16 hours to clear out in a medium sized house




(too cold to smoke outside here, I smoke in the am, 1-4am, and its about 27 degrees F, not fun to smoke in)
 
Back in the days when I had to hide parties, I just made everyone smoke outside. Then you've just gotta watch out for people being loud and shit outside where the neighbours can have a piece. :P

Depends how partyish this party is though, if it's like a gathering of 15 year olds no worries.
 
You can take a roll of papertowels. Take the cardboard roll out, place a scented laundry detergent wipe on the end, blow the smoke through and it should smell like clean laundry. Oldest trick in the book.
