Hi! So I moved from New Hampshire to Arizona in May to live with my Internet boyfriend of 4.5 years. It's been Extremely hot this summer (everyday is at least 105 degrees F).
I usually keep my weed paraphernalia (bong, grinder, etc.) and stuff outside, but bring my lighter in 100% of the time. I started bringing it in after seshes recently as I theorized this, but I used to keep my flower ground up in a candy tin outside, in the shade under a plastic table. I'd leave it out for days at a time with 0 rain.
I think... Leaving my pre-ground flower in the tin outside where it reaches 100F everyday was slowly decarbing my weed. Would this result in a loss of potency, effects, etc.? I find the weed to be stronger if I leave it inside in the A/C kitchen, and bring it in/out. When I would leave the ground up stuff in the tin outside or 3+ days at a time, it certainly didn't feel potent to smoke, and felt harsher.
Is there any proof or evidence this could be factual? Let me know, I'm super curious! Thanks!
