Today our Cornishman's facebook was posted with this news.

It is with great regret to inform everybody that on Saturday 7th september my big brother Adam Richards felt he was no longer meant for this world.... and sadly passed away yesterday surrounded by our love. We will miss you so much. you can rest in peace now. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You are a great man Cornish. I'm probably not the most appropriate person to dedicate this thread for you, but I'm sure you'd respect the decision to let EADD to know. This is very sad news...Please rest in peace Cornish. EADD has forever lost a small slice of its charm and beauty.

Wow, he's been a regular on the forum for a while now. Good guy, always a good contributor and will definitely be missed.

R.I.P.

He was such a nice charming sounding guy, i know a few people down here who have met him and said he was a lovely really intelligent person, ive known him since 07 on car forum and then here and hes always stuck out in my mind. tragic, fuck sake. heart sank when i saw his sister put that on facebook just now. cant believe it

RIP x

You gave more light to people than you were able to take for yourself man. The world, and the world of BL, is far worse off for not having you anymore.

Rest In Peace - Aggressively.

Was just informed of this. Genuinely shocked. Am not one for picking favourites but fuck it, he was one of my favourite EADD peeps ever. I loved the way his mind worked. Made me smile. Lots.

Dunno what to say really. Shocked cos really wasn't expecting that. Hope he's off playing frisbee in a nice wooded grove by the beach <3

Fucking hell, really sad. RIP, you'll be sorely missed around here :( <3

Heard the news, I don't think I spoke to you many times personally directly via PMs etc Cornishman, but genuinely saddened. RIP mate and hope you are in a better place.

Me and plenty of other BL'rs are gonah be having you, Mugz, Dave and all the other EADDrs in our memory when we are gathered this weekend. Gonah be an amazing reminder of how great Bluelight is at bringing people together for brilliant times and also at how hard it can be on us on individually as we loose friends gained.

Rest In Peace - Aggressively.

Can we get this in the thread title please, he'd have liked that.

He was my best 'friend' here. We were meant to get wasted and play frizbee on the beach :(

He was one of those people that really was too bright, too different, too clever and thought on a different level to most of us. I knew he was struggling to find his place in this world, some people obviously never do. I will miss him and his posts greatly.

What the fuck. Been to me ma's funeral today & just got back from her wake. Just saw this & what devastating news.

Cornish was fucking perfect. Truly a beautifully hearted human. He possessed an abstract intelligence that ive rarely seen which externalised in an exceptionally unique humour and love for fellow humans.

Fuck fuck fuck. A truly beautiful creature. Devastated.

Much love to his family if they're reading this. I doubt theres a person on this board who wld ever have anything other than total positive things to say about him.

Cornish, you'll be missed beyond words <3

Terribly sad.

Didn't know the guy aside from his posts. We didn't always see eye-to-eye obviously, but I ever harboured any dislike, and found many of his posts entertaining. Though some recent ones betrayed a very deep sadness.

One thing we did have in common was this:

Brian Wilson - Surf's Up

That says it better, I think.

My thoughts go out to friends and family.
