So for the past 7-8 years I have had a daily hydrocodone habit but the last 2-3 years have been on 50-70 mg of oxy per day. I am 29 with a very demanding leadership job. In the past week and a half I have gotten myself down to 20 mg of hydrocodone a day and survived on 12.5 mg yesterday. I have been experiencing WD and have had a hard time working, but I made it through the week. I have to start traveling for work next week and am so seeing if it is in my best interest to continue to taper to lower doses or jump. I have tries c/t before, not making past the first or second day. I have ambien for sleep, but it does not help much. Also I have been jogging for about 30-45 min daily, but am still struggling with extreme rls and insomnia. Any help is appreciated

I would continue your taper for a few more days. Consider jumping 4 days before travel as the worst of it should be overby then.

May I ask why you're stopping?

Suggest you take some time off of your job so you can treat this efficiently and with medical support. It's going to be very difficult to improvise this imo/e. It will just make you tired and you need to focus if you want to succeed.
