Umm. H5N1 was never contagious between mammals before this research was done. I suppose if you actually did some research on this subject you would know that. They also talked about how easy the mutation could occur. Which makes it a likely possibility that it could occur on its own in nature. Also yeah no terrorists had ever released a bio weapon. Just like no terrorists had ever hijacked a couple of planes and rammed them into skyscrapers either before 9/11

So bio weapons have been used in war to terrorize. Maybe not by terrorists (although the definitions are blurry at this point because you could argue that is exactly the tactic the Imperial Japanese army was using terror) but you get the idea I'm sure. There was no refusal of acknowledgement? The guy was in complete DENIAL! Even if he wasn't patient zero (and some recent evidence suggests that he wasn't) you know how many people he personally infected after he found out he had HIV/AIDS? The guy would sleep with someone and then tell them "I've got gay cancer. I'm going to die and so are you". So yeah not fair at all and sure he is not responsible for what he did even after he found out the nature of his disease. I'm sure Typhoid Mary was innocent too

I'm not quoting from that article. That was supposedly a big deal when the Large Hadron collider was first set up. People were talking about how a huge black hole could consume the earth and was it likely? No. SSOOOO STFU and actually read what I am writing. I didn't quote anything. I simply stated a fact.
