Cocaine Complete cociane newbie question!!

Hello all, I am brand new to the site, not so new to drugs (cannabis and mainly psychedelics), but completely new to cocaine. This question may come off pretty naive and silly, but any responses would be great.

A friend (who is also very inexperienced with coke) bought a gram and showed it to me today. In the baggie were two little chunks of an off white-ish looking substance. Now, I am not a complete idiot, so at first I clearly thought it was crack. She assured me, though, that it just needed to be crumbled, and that it WASN'T crack.

Now, I don't know, I had always thought cocaine was ALWAYS a pure white powder and that crack was the rock freebase (a lot more dangerous and addicting) form of it. Am I completely wrong? Can cocaine be in rock form without being crack? I don't want to try anything unless I am 100% sure of what I am doing.

Any advice???

Although i don't like cocaine much and haven't done it too many times i can tell you. Yes a lot of the time cocaine will be in chunks and clumps, where you have to break it down. No it is probably not crack and usually you want to be looking for cocaine that is rocked up rather than fine dusty powder, the powder is usually cut more. With this being said, i can assure you that your cocaine has been stomped on a few times. (it has been cut with other unknown chemicals, or just filler)
