Committment Issues

Why does this always have to happen to me?
Why am I incapable of staying happy with someone?
You, a boy so sweet.
So young and carefree.
You make me happy when you're around.
All I ever want you to do is hold me in your arms forever.
You kiss me oh so gently.
Almost as if you can't believe I'm real.
But real I am,
and real it will be when we break up.
Cuz, you see, it's inevitable for me,
To run from committment.
What am I missing out there?
Was HE "the one",
sitting next to me on the bus?
Or was HE "the one",
sitting behind me in class?
These things I often wonder during those many times apart from you.
When I can't see your face, hear your voice, smell your cologne, taste you on my lips.
You should be with someone who knows what she wants.
Someone you could see whenever you wanted to.
Someone that doesn't freak at the first sign of committment.
That someone isn't me.

that describes my feelings to a tee...afraid of commitment...that's me...always has been. It sucks, but then I think..maybe it just wasn't the right person. I'm just guessing when that right person does come along...I won't even think about being afraid of commitment anymore.

To all of you,,, two of which are my kids,
In time you find what you need, and want.
Just give it some time..
So far it too me 29 yrs to figure out what i want, and i know you all are alot smarter then to take that long!

and now that I know what i want. I just have to never settle and go for it
