So..

I've been taking 1.5 - 3gs of phenibut daily for a good few months now.. with only a few days within those months where no phenibut was taken.

The past couple of days i have gone down to about 900mgs..

I feel like shit. My paranoia has increased 10 fold, anxiety is through the roof and depression is nearly too much for me to handle.

I should be getting a sleeze of 5mg diazepam in a week or so..

My question is..

How well will the diazpeam help? Will it completely get rid of any phenibut withdrawals? Will it only prolong the inevitable?

Urgh i hate this feeling.

Any other hints / tips / advice much appreciated..

The diazepam will certainly help but it probably won't completely eliminate the withdrawal and shouldn't prolong it. Phenibut is a GABAb agonist while Diazepam (and other benzodiazepines) are GABAa agonists.

The diazepam should very effectively treat the symptoms you've described and while it won't prolong the inevitable, dependence on diazepam is more serious so you definitely want to use as little as possible for the shortest duration possible to avoid just transitioning to diazepam dependence.

I don't have any personal experience with phenibut use let alone dependence so hopefully others will firsthand knowledge can help you out.
