College in London

Hello! Im from the US but I plan on studying in a different country, mainly Englad or even Ireland. Im going to school as an undergraduate and planning on majoring in International Relations.

Since ive seen many people on Bluelight that are from different parts of the world I figured what better place could I ask for some help/advice!

I already know the student visa stuff and everything, its mainly just down to college researching. So far ive found one college in particular that I like, Regents American College London. I don't want to study abroad through a college in America, I want to actually get out there and meet people and see the world while working towards my studies.

Any words of wisdom are welcomed!

If you want to go to another country and see what their studying is like, and meet people of the area etc etc... Why choose an American 'college' in London? Why not apply to one of the actual universities of London?

Regents college is a good university - and there is also a non-american sector of it as well.

I agree with voludr - in fact what you tend to find at universities in London is that there are people from all around the world not just england regardless if you choose an american styled university or not actually, but the pure englsh colleges/universities tend to require a higher standard of grades to get into.

there are many wonderful universities in london - i suggest having a look at others, perhaps goldsmiths, queen mary, UCL, metropolitan or birkbeck.

it all depends on what you think you can achieve and what you want to do really.
