I sweat alot and I want to know how can I get more accustomed to the heat... I think I've read somewhere that hot showers and hot drinks are recommended in the summer-what do you think?

I was told the same. See, when you drink a cold drink, your body starts working to try and heat it up and make it equal to your inner body temperature or whatever, thus making your body warmer. But if you drink something hot... you get the picture. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to test it out.

Just a note: eating a slightly calorie restricted diet of whole foods, containing large amounts of fruits and vegetables has been shown to lower core body temperature (and also extends your life-span)-- this may reduce the amount you sweat (but will certainly help you feel great).

To answer your question: I don't hesitate to drink hot tea when it is hot outside.

I take warm/lukewarm showers in the summer and I've been known to drink hot coffee and tea as well as iced coffee and tea over ice.
