As for the Cola method I assume you removed the coating attempting to make it an instant release, I live in AUS and here the anti tamper can be built into the actual method of pressing and other ways not just the coating. This being said Breaking it up as well is a way to help further and more efficiently break the timed release mechanism, of course if this was what your trying to do.
