Stimulants Coffee acidity effecting amphetamine absorption?

I know acidic foods can effect the effectiveness of oral amphetamines (vyvanse,adderall) so i was wondering if coffee would also effect them. And if so, does it really effect them enough to drastically reduce the power of the amphetamine...or not really.
 
I don't drink coffee, but I have acidic lemonade iced green chamomile tea on amphetamines and never really notice a difference. Just offset it with a tums after if you wanna make sure.
 
pH of gi tract affects rate of absorption. Alkaline conditions typically lead to higher maximum blood concentration, but a longer time interval to reach that concentration. Acidic conditions have less of an effect, as amphetamine is already protonated at gastric pH. The drug info only warns against taking with antacids, while taking on an empty stomach is fine.

From experience, however, I find that large doses of caffeine work against the beneficial effects of amphetamine and often exacerbate the negative.
