Codeine laced weed :S?

Getting a hold of some fine hooter laced with powdered codeine, so I'm told. Any thoughts? I don't know a lot about codeine other than it comes from opium poppys like smack so can anyone inform me how this batch may affect my state of consciousness? Is codeine smokable?
 
Freebase codeine is smokeable, though I'm not sure why you'd want to. It would more then likely just be OTC codeine+paracetemol ground up and sprinkled over the weed.. not the healthiest thing to be smoking.. who ever you're getting it off is probably bullshitting you and/or retarded so I'd personally give it a miss.

Smack doesn't come from opium poppy's, morphine does, smack is derived from morphine
 
Ok thanks, yeah I'm no opiate expert as you picked up. I was thinking it wouldn't be the best thing for my lungs to be smoking pharmaceutical drugs and weed, so thanks for the confirmation.
 
Apparently some people actually dump codeine cough syrup into blunts and dry em out and smoke em. Candyblunts.

I don't see how you could possibly get enough syrup into a blunt for a high. Even imagining that 50 % of the codeine gets into you (which it probably doesn't given the method used for smoking it), I don't see how that much syrup would fit in a blunt.

OP- Your weed is probably not laced with codeine and your dealer is just saying that. Also codeine is not like heroin. It's like heroin in that they are both opiates, but codeine has a ceiling dose so for many of us with high opiate tolerances all it does is cause itching and mild sedation. It's closer to hydrocodone and oxycodone in feel then it is to heroin (and other morphine derivitives) in my opinion.

Also- don't smoke pills, and for god's sake don't smoke cough syrup.
 
if it has no Tylenol you could freebase the powder with foil. but you dont smoke pills! if its more expensive don't buy it you wont feel it unless you have 0 tolerance and you smoke a grip.

The freebase form is smokeable, not the salt, there was another thread on this.

Sega420, not necessarily. Do you know why clove cigarettes were invented? They originally discovered that clove oil is an acute relief for asthma, so they started lacing cigs with clove oil as a way to help asthmatics with their lung problems, haha. Seems kind of ironic to smoke cigarettes as a way to help you breathe deeper and more clearly.
 
Pfft, at least if it was laced with cough syrup it might stop the person who I was gonna smoke it with stop spewing up a lung on every bong. He's sick, which will probably come back and bite me in the ass soon enough. I get the picture, TBH I have no intentions of ever touching heroin and if I chose to I'd sure as fuck be looking up details such as that. But on-topic.
It was offered to my mate for an extra $5, he said 'Let's try it this weekend!' It sounded sketchy to me, which is why I asked about it. Gonna give it a miss in the light of this information, good old pure skunka does the trick for meh anyway. Thanks guys!

....Awhile back, I was watching an episode of "Intervention" and this kid from Texas [go figure] rolled a blunt, and he dipped the whole blunt into a bottle of Tussionex and was like "this is Tussionex, hydrocodone cough syrup. Once it dries, and we smoke it... we'll get really high. You know, first from the marijuana, then from the cough syrup. That's how I roll all of my blunts."

I just don't get it, what the fuck would possess someone to do this? Why wouldn't you just smoke your herb, then drink the cough syrup? Or vice versa. I mean, it's completely ridiculous that people think this shit is "cool" or whatever. Such a waste of a perfectly fine drug. I can't even imagine how harsh the smoke is from doing that. I mean, the smoke from his weed alone was pretty harsh, cause it looked like some really, really, REALLY shitty weed.

...Kids from Texas, when will they learn? Not saying everybody from Texas is a moron, it's just where you see so much of the codeine shit going down at. Not to mention people making a huge deal about "lean." Nbd, js.

But, I've got friends who do this, that fucking swear by it. Every time one of them gets prescribed codeine/prometh, they use the whole bottle just for blunts, and that's it. There might be a drink taken from it, but that's it. And that happens very rarely. Every time I'm with them and they smoke, I politely decline. lol.

But, to the OP. Your dealer probably just told you it was "laced with codeine" to make a few extra bucks off of you. I mean, no intelligent person would waste the time, money, or drug to lace weed. Especially with codeine. It's just pointless. So, your best bet, is to either find someone else to get your herb from, or see if your dude has any weed that's "clean" so to speak.

Lacing pot is retarded. Even if it will get you more fucked up fact of the matter is that when we decide to buy and smoke pot, that is exactly what we want. its a damn shame when fuckheads lace pot and try to pass it off on unwitting customers or even to lace it for the sake of "trying to make it better". There is only one way to truly enhance pot beyond growing techniques and that is through selective breeding

I know what you mean, I've heard of people lacing pot with shit like flyspray (albeit only once) just to make it weigh out more. You could tell something was up, normal weed doesn't sparkle and crackle... But yeah, some people go around saying "Hey man, I know this one guy who sells LSD laced weed" and you're just like this cunt's full of shit. Only heard that one once too, and I smoked it and didn't trip or flip out. Flavoured weed is one thing, weed laced with other shit is another. If it's good pot you shouldn't need to lace it.

....When I lived in Tennessee, I knew a dude who would "spritz" his weed with water, before someone was coming to pick up. Like, if someone called and was like "yo, I need an 8th of some herb. Is it cool to stop by?"

Dude would weigh out like 1.5-2grams of some fluff, and spray water on it with a water bottle until it weighed out to 3.5grams. Such shady business, man. Some drug dealers, are such shitty business people. Lol.
 
That's dodgy as man, and imagine trying to light a cone that's half water. Small-time dealers generally should chuck in that tiny bit extra to set them apart from the others. That's how you make and keep new customers. Unless you got like no competition, which is rare these days. Another thing I hate, dealers that weigh the baggy as well. It weighs like .2 of a G. Sources hard in it for the cash need half a business mind, fair enough if you're just selling to level off a Q-ie but if you're pushing for profits you should at least make people remember your grams.
Yeah, I don't see the point of lacing shit bud neither, not worth the money. Better just to smoke the bud and get fucked off the lace l0l.
