Opioids codeine crystals!

so i did a cwe a while ago with 8 500/30mg codeine tablets. i put the finished liquid into an evaporating dish (tried evaporating in a casserole dish before and it didnt work ) and stored it in a cupboard. anyway i completely forgot about it till today (about 3 weeks later) and there was a nice block of crystals stuck to the bottom of the dish. i immediately removed them and they look pretty nice and read ph9 on the paper which i heard is the ph of codeine?! however i found myself in the problem of how to take them.
i though id put them in a drink, but i suppose that defeats the object of turning into crystals anyway, insufflating? looks like it would be painful, iv, but im not into that shit and i would have liked to smoke them with my bud but it would kill the codeine so would be pointless
i know this might sound like a stupid question but whats the most effective way of taking it, looks about 0.3g worth of crystal!

Sweet Jesus, DO NOT IV CODEINE!!!!

That will lead to a fatal histamine release, and is a very, very stupid thing to do.

Both codeine phosphate (4.2) and acetaminophen (5.5-6.5) are acidic.
A dilute solution of caffeine, on the other hand, is around pH 8-9.

Only codeine freebase would be alkaline, and you haven't added any freebasing agents I hope. (baking soda, lye)

I suggest what you have is likely (a large potion) crystals of caffeine.

Anyway, codeine needs first pass metabolism to be effective, and to be honest a solution extracted via coldwater from OTC/Rx pills is not going to e pure enough for injection. So that leaves making gelcaps or rectal administration. Either is going to be equally effective.

Don't fucking IV (or smoke/freebase) codeine, it can cause a massive histamine release that can kill you.

Just eat it, codeine is pressed into pills for oral use for a reason.

Hey ergicmergic , what if one were to take a lot of antihistamines/inject the antihistamines , would it make codeine remotely safe to inject ? Doesn't it completely fuck ur veins or something tho .

OP u didn't mention vaporizing , only smoking , so maybe chuck a bit on foil and give it a go ? Or if u have a meth pipe . Definetly give snorting/plugging a go tho , the less solution there is the better it hits , so mix it with a tiny bit of water and drink it if u don't wanna try anything else .

Codeine is not safe to inject intravenously at all. And attempting to freebase it off foil is equally stupid. Sudden huge jumps in blood codeine will basically cause anaphylaxis in some individuals, and antihistamines will probably do nothing to help.

You might want to look into plugging codeine if you feel that oral dosing doesn't do it for you, not sure if it is actually more effective but some people have said they found it to be.

like ive already said, iv isnt my kind of thing and i wouldnt consider doing it with any drug. thank you for the info though, bit disappointed that it was only caffiene....

You cannot use the IV route for this drug. Antihistamines should not be injected whatsoever.

did u take the crystals orally , to prove it was caffeine ? yeah look into plugging i tried plugging for the first time the other day with a CWE , it was definetly a bit stronger than oral but i didnt smoke weed like i have every other time at the 30 minute mark , so wasnt able to judge it as well :/

yes, i crushed the crystals and bombed them but had no effect, i should also have a very low tolerance as opiates are not something i do. i took them and fell asleep (mainly because i was tired from an all nighter) and when i woke up, my head felt abit strange but that was it, so yeah like sekio said it was probably a high amount of caffiene i had so overall a waste of time really.
