Cocaine residue in nostril

Hi.
SWIM keeps failing saliva swab drug tests for cocaine despite going 3 days without having any cocaine.

Cocaine in apparently in the saliva for 48 hours.

So my random theory is that cocaine residue may be stuck in my nasal area and lingers around.

Had there been any research on this. And how long does it stay in your nasal area.

I know of im going to do coke then the best way of preventing this issue would be to inject the coke but I dont inject as I do not like the risk and the elevation of my drug use.

I don't know if any sticks around but rinse your nose after each use.
And we don't use SWIM here. Please don't start IV use, it's the beginning of the end

Looks like the window is about 48h according to this comparison of two oral drug tests that are in use - so you're probably just around the cutoff.

Also, I noticed that you recently got out of prison. I imagine that the drug testing that you're undergoing is related to this.

At the end of the day, you can try to find whatever loophole you want, but if you keep fucking around while on tox monitoring, they're going to catch you and it's your freedom that is at stake. You can rinse your nose, you can gargle with baking soda, you can drink raw honey badger piss... there's a high likelihood you will get caught and have your freedom taken away from you again. Further, in the meantime, your free time will be spent in a near constant state of heightened anxiety, with peaks and valleys that rise into peaks yet again with each new test you have to take. That's a shitty way to live, man.

I don't know how long you're on parole/monitoring, but you gotta fight for your fucking self, and your freedom. Get a therapist and talk about this shit, go to a recovery meeting, do whatever you can to get some distance between you and the urge to get high. If not, it's basically an inevitability that you end up back behind the wall, logging onto BL on some burner phone trying to figure out if it's worth it to snort Seroquel. You don't deserve that shit, don't play into their hand. Stay clean until you're off monitoring, then decide if it's worth it to go down this path again.
