cocaine purity only 5%, what the hell are people putting up their noses?

heard on the radio today that cocaine is the most expensive it has ever been and that the purity is at its lowest at 5%.
Im sure most other people have noticed the radical decline in the quality of product thats available, i know i have.
So question is what the hell are they selling and what are people really putting up their noses if only 5% is pure coke?

this is worrying.
 
Yeah, I've noticed a definite decline in the last few years. I remember the days when a line used to make you feel awesome and numb half your face. It's really hard to get stuff like that now. Helps if you "know people" but even then, it just doesn't seem as good.. probably a combination of building up a resistance and lower quality. This is another reason I've been looking for an alternative, it's a lot of money to pay when it usually just isn't that great any more.
 
didn't someone post quite a good fact sheet on the cuts found at cocaine seizures both at borders and in street raids? was very informative, i'll have a look for it later if nobody's dragged it up by the time i get back.
 
maybe when compared to the purity its the most expensive its ever been, but the price of the average gram on the street is the cheapest its ever been. 5 for £100? £25/30 for a single gram? it's cheap as fuck. its also cut to fuck. i'm glad i've pretty much packed it in. it was getting beyond a joke how pish the ching was getting round here

Even if I had the money I wouldn't buy it any more. After getting absolute shite the last 3 times off 3 separate people, with a time lapse of about a month between each one. One gram was in a different area of the country as well. The last time I had decent coke was 2 years ago on NYE at Birmingham. Was soooooo damn good. Memories :(

Yep I used to fucking LOVE doing coke. I can still get fairly good quality, for nowadays, but it's just not the same, quite sad really.
 
Good coke is possibly one of the greatest drug experiences that exists, where a gram is actually considered quite a lot, the shit nowadays you need to sniff an entire gram to get a good buzz. The problem is most people who sell coke couldn't give two shits about the quality, and most of the coke-using public seem happy to shove any white powder up their noses, no incentive for anything to change.

Exactly, a gram was a shitload. A gram even sometimes used to last me two nights, you only needed a small line. Whereas now you've hoovered up half of it before you've even got started, then you go, "Fuck! Where's it gone?" haha.
 
i know a french chap in dublin who gets coke personally from spain and its always fucking amazing
he is expensive though, i think its around
75 euro a gram

well worth if it you like your coke though

ive not paid for any since november though, not really my buzz tbh (altho i dont know if ive ever turned down a free line hehe)
 
in a recent court case here in ireland a massive shipment of around a tonne was found to be 70% only and it was still on a yatch coming from colombia.
a lot of street coke tested here averaged 7%.
the price over here is a lot cheaper than 2005/2006 prices
 
It might be cheaper but those up the chain selling it are making more money by putting so little actual coke in the end product, sadly greed ruins our precious drugs :(
 
Apparently in the antipodes, dimethocaine is starting to appear as a cocaine replacement - in case you're wondering, dimethocaime is a local anaesthetic with similar reuptake inhibition activity as cocaine; not quite sure what an effective dose is though, but the reuptake inhibition (ie local vasoconstriction) along with local anaesthetic activity of an ester compound (as opposed to an amide) had chance to make t feel physically very similar, which goes a long way towards people thinking it is cocaine or a cocaine like high.

No doubt it'll start appearing here too (it's much cheaper & easier to synth than pseudotropyl 4-fluorobenzoate aka fluorotropacocaine) given that people are complaining about the quality of cocaine here.

Got some coke from london straight out of pablos retirement fund at the weekend. my mates went mad on it and started punchin the bollox out of each other. i stuck mainly to the 2cd,k and mdma. got a load of diamonds which are piperazine. wasn't a bad weekend in fairness.

Coke is a bit shit in the scale of things

special k'd for the first time with it though....an interesting experience.......
 
Didn't some university do a study of street drugs recently that determined most street cocaine is something like 90% pure?
