This is my 2nd post on this website so please do let me know if im posting in the wrong place or anything. More of a '-general drug related question- bluelight' google type of person but at times like this it's always handy to sign in and ask a question :p

Use coke every now and then, have grown a slight tolerance that's started to lessen recently but atm don't go over 1g a night after a few shots of vodka usually

I always find myself (around 3/4 into the high) constantly checking my heartrate and worrying i might end up having a heart attack, sometimes so much that it's almost a circle of getting worried my heartrate is too fast which in turn makes it faster..) I know a few people who have this annoying (but sensible) worry in the back of their minds too,

basically just wondering if much of you get this too? You have anything you tell yourself to kind of suppress the anxiety?

Also just looking for any info if there's any of you that have actually almost had anything happen whilst on coke (and when during the high it happened/what you did about it)

Sorry this post is kinda messy but thanks for any replies 8( not a new user of the drug so please leave out any 'don't do it' posts, im aware of the dangers just interested in hearing other people's experiences

Coke is a cardiotoxic stimulant so keeping track of HR/BP is a wise idea.
I can definitely relate, on the comedown from any stimulant, obsessive checking, rechecking, "Oh God, I'm gonna have a heart attack!", googling random bits on cardiology and convincing yourself you have a rare, chronic, fatal heart condition that you have exacerbated...

Or is that just me?

^^precisely. Tachycardia causes the anxiety and paranoia. Every coke user experiences it. I've convinced myself I was going to die or stroke out MANY a time on stims. Even weed can make you paranoid like that. A fast beating heart is just a concerning thing for the avg joe.

Nothing like an anxiogenic, cardiotoxic stimulant induced paranoia to bring on a panic attack (which, funnily enough, shares symptoms with Myocardial crises)!

A little Valium helps a lot, IME. With HR/BP regulation and reducing the inevitable (and awfully circular) anxiety.
Eases the comedown to boot!
=D

After a binge on methylone and dirty coke I spent several weeks in a really shitty anxious state. Since then I'm much more careful, the high is not worth it. I wouldn't be surprised if your coke is cut with some amphetamine crap. I think mixing coke and speed sucks.

if i do cocaine alone i get this almost all the time. i always get palpitations and then i keep checking my heart over and over and over

if i am already a bit drunk i dont get it though. remember this mix is more dangerous that cocaine alone though, cuz supposedly cocaehtylene is worst for the heart.

the best bet would be a benzo to get over the paranoia and being able to enjoy your coke high

Yes, but you should be careful as they inform you heart conflicting bio info. If you have to take them, use them much later, upon coming down..

Yeah not just you, searching the internet all over for something reassuring when really it must just be the paranoia so nothing you find helps haha

Yeah, I've felt like I was about to have a seizure after smoking crack. Don't know if this is a good idea or not, but I took a xanax and felt much better. I probably wasn't, since when I've had seizures before from other causes they came without any warning -- I just fell over insensible and wondered wtf when I woke up.
